I’ve been raising Koi for 40 years in my small pond and have lost my fish to predators and floods but never disease Strong Waterfall oxygenated water is the key and keeping minimal amount of fish

Absolutely beautiful pond. For me, the railing takes away from the koi interaction, which for me is my favorite part of owning a koi pond.

Come on, 32000 gallons is not the largest koi pond in the US. I have seen a 100000 gallon pond in Florida, 8 feet deep with an Island. I get it though, you have to make false claims to drive up engagement for your channel.

The water in the smaller ponds look good. But the water in the larger pond needs a better filter system.

Oh wow my dream pond, it’s been great watching this pond build. The glasshouse over the top of the pond is brilliant, is it double walled like the Japanese koi houses are? If the pond is heated, greenhouse double walled, temp kept min 15C the plants have a high chance of surviving the winter.

I would love to have seen de bakki system in de pond especially because you have a nice temp whole year around indoors. Kinda like the momotaro 1500t pond.

I've been a koi keeper for 18yrs now. I spent about $1,700k for my filtration system for my 10k gal. pond and I designed it myself. I only clean my filter once every year and seldom change my water to avoid stress to my koi. I'm kinda sad when I see people spend so much on filtration yet still worried a lot about cleaning, water maintenance and koi health.

It a big koi tank & great filter systems. But money does not build great design & its overkill

Pond and filtration is incredible. The perspex jump barriers let it down a bit I think and if the koi were parasite free (Flukes?) the chances of one jumping out would be very low.

I wish you guys bowled some of the koi.. Great pond though. I'll take his quarantine as my main pond.. Lol

I thought my pond was a decent size....it's not quite the capacity of the quarantine pond ! If only I had the space......and money 🙂
