Unfortunately his murder was paranoid with all the media attention around Jimmy, USAF veteran, and when a bus that was robbed a week after his death, the police were making stops in the area and he assumed it was for him and he took off running, and of course the police pursued him. He wasn’t involved in that robbery but he made it seem so. He ended up committing suicide when he was surrounded and the ballistics were the same gun linking him to my boyfriend’s murder. It was also used in a home invasion, where it was a robbery, and I believed it was used there too. As for Jimmy… he will forever be 27. R.I.H.

As a Vermonter myself, that first potential victim's reaction is about as Vermont as it gets. Your kindness extends to your neighbors and community and you distrust outsiders. I find it quite alarming that so many people, including the commentators in this episode referred to these thugs as “bored, clean-cut youth” from respectable families. Such positive adjectives to describe such evil, vile, lowlife, heartless and ruthless killers. And I can guess why.

Likewise is true for the many families who allowed these thugs in their homes because they weren’t perceived as a threat. That’s what happens when only certain people are extended the luxury of getting the “benefit of the doubt”
