Makoton is a perfect example of uncontrolled what grief and revenge does to humans. His anger and antinatural hatred towards Patapon made him take really bad decitions wich caused him to loss more than his wife/friend (we may never fully understand Aiton's relationship with him) but also losing his whole soul, his humanity and mental state...

To be fair, if Patapon 3 was aiming to be a darker and edgier game, they should've used Makoton in a better way, because if the headcanon of him being possesed by the archfriend of rage is true, he was a wasted return of his character.

I could imagine Ragewolf protecting Naughtyfins because she makes him remember his past loved one, and it would boost his hate towards Patapon....

Perhaps it's just a coincidence, but i really like how his walk starts with frantic running and slowly gets more and more dull, and by the time he became Ragewolf, he's compleately still, signifyng how all the spite he has towards Patapons is taking a toll and consuming him

This is absolutely fantastic. I am flabbergasted because of how good it is. There is so much more depth to it beyond just "smooth". The squash and stretch, overlapping, use of double frames, expressions, fantastic art and composing are each masterfully done. The patience, effort and commitment it takes to produce this animation is literally astonishing, let alone the amount of said qualifications it took to acquire the skill to produce such art. Beyond technical components, this holds so much sentimental value for me. Having such a skilled artist bestow an animation as cool as this upon such an underrated minor antagonist of a game thats long out of its prime is such a blissed event. There are words in the english language an amount well beyond my comprehension yet I can and will never be able to put together enough words to express how much I appreciate this.
