this is a great trailer! but it doesn't capture the complexities of this film....

Enjoing your life is the best, not revenge but satisfaction. Great classic aussie gem.

Still in my Top 5 of RomComs sorta feel like Ma Ma Mia was inspired by Muriel’s Wedding,
but M.W. remains far superior if not smarter.

The distributor had no clue about this movie, this trailer barely sells it, to all those audiences that made it a cult classic, it just shows how good content is treated by the money people....Id never go see this on the strength of this trailer in fact it makes me dislike a movie that I really loved. Never let someone else sell your story, they dont care.

Great movie, brilliant acting, great characters and beaut story. I love it.

A very memorable movie. I've often wanted to stop in to David's Bridal having no fiance.

They make it look like a comedy but it's really quite dark.

The one thing that doesn't make alot of sense with the storyline is how nasty,and rude David was to Muriel in the beginning..He had the nerve to ask her what kind of person would marry a stranger? I have always found that part a bit off after he pimped his own self out for the huge sum of 10 million dollars .. 😂

Muriel's wedding was made in 1994 yet it doesn't have any 2021 abba songs. Strange.

My favourite about this movie is that it introduced me to Toni Collette. I have loved her ever since and followed her career throughout the years. She never fails to deliver perfect, memorable performances. So happy she's had such an extraordinarily successful career. Wow, it's been 28 years since I've watch this! Time to see it again. :)

Such a bad trailer - it's a fantastic film and I'd never watch it if I just saw this trailer.

I always say you're terrible Muriel but have never given this movie a fair go (came out when I was pretty young) so now I'm definitely going to watch it again and appreciate it in new light!!

I remember seeing this trailer back in the '90s thinking the movie was going to be a light comedy and being completely unprepared for how dark it was. It's a great movie, but it has some heartbreaking moments.
