The giant sunroof is killing all the efficiency. I don’t know why this company is so delusional. There are lots and lots of videos where people proved that insulating sunroof during extreme weather has shown significant improvements for energy efficiency.

Which part the hydrogen argument. Or is it the range im wrong about which one? Am I really wrong about how long it would take for the grid to catch up really? Which one can be more specific? Because I can say YOUR WRONG at anything that diesnt make you right.

Ask Chicago EV owners how they like their EV in extreme cold. Can you say stranded. Sorry Elon, I still think your great.

Tesla’s engineering is at another level from legacy auto, this includes software engineers. Tesla and Space X have a relationship that allows some software types and maybe other engineers to transfer between companies. Those rocket types are no slouches, nor are the Tesla engineers. Tesla hires the best of the best, the C and D students go to legacy auto, lol.

This is one thing Tesla did right. Great engineering. Wish they could do all things great but they rush the build and comes out bad quality. It's laughable at times.

I suppose it isn't possible, or maybe not cost-effective, to install a heat pump on an older model? I have a 2019 TM3.

Still died when the car said I had 10 miles of range left. Super charger was 2.2 miles away. Hate Tesla for their inability to tell you how much range you truly have. They should have erred on the side of caution instead of trying to fluff up their range specs. I once drove 2.5 miles to the gas station in a Lincoln town car while it showed the whole time “0 miles of range”.

It’s actually not true. I haven’t noticed anything between my 2020 model 3 and my 2023 model y. It’s just marketing. Btw range sucks in the winter. I am getting 150 miles out of 300 miles so Tesla stop lying to us

Bought two new X Plaids for the business in the East Coast and both came with Sport Tires. How can Tesla sell these vehicles in the snowy states with Summer Tires forcing buyers to spend thousands at the very beginning to install All Season Tires. And here Tesla is investing in reengineering the heat pump while missing the most basic tire options.

@or2wheels

That’s one thing I absolutely love about my Model 3 - in winter the car warms up alarmingly quick. By the time I’m down my driveway the air from vents is noticeable warmer than the ambient temps in the cabin. Of course using the app you can schedule the temperature before you even leave. The best kind of technology is one where you don’t even have to interact with it.
