ОтветитьMAC 👌👍
ОтветитьCan’t beat that time of year outside cracking on with that 👍
ОтветитьNice bud
ОтветитьHi mate,
Couple of questions for ya pal.
When u watered down the walls, is it not best to use PVA bond on the walls instead???
Also, is there something called lime plaster or lime rendering??? Is that used for outside rendering??? I thought lime plaster/render was a breathable render rather sand and cement.
What is the ratio mix to your render?? Just normal building sand???
Much appreciated,
Mozzer.
Hello friend! Looks fun to do...but looks tired too! Nice job!
Have a nice time my friend......Monica
Good quality video Mac, what ratio was ur scratch coat
Ответитьgreat job:)
ОтветитьSuper fantastic work !!! You are so fast :)
ОтветитьYou're so smart and hard working
ОтветитьYES SIR! "Get er done!"
ОтветитьWonderful! Thumb up!
Ответитьnice :)
ОтветитьYou decorated that wall with cement to perfection despite those scorching temperatures. Definitely worthy of an ice cream after that job :)
ОтветитьHI Mac , you always make a job look so easy , great work , liked, have a great new week :)ms
ОтветитьWhat about the damp course? Or doesn't it matter with it being a wall. Thanks
ОтветитьGreat job :-) I like how you consider the diffrent moisture levels for top and bottom with ground water and sun exposure, I can see that making a really big diffrence in long term strength of bonding to to the block i must admit :-D Thanks for the share, I can really see your technique here, like it would be hard to replicate to your extent as you make it look so easy but it gives a great idea for folk like myself who are still early learners of the trade :-) My best my friend. Paul.
ОтветитьFantastic work!! Like 30 :D Have a great day!
ОтветитьWow nice
ОтветитьWhat's the ratio of the mix
ОтветитьGreat job thanks for sharing Mac ! Did you use SBr prior to applying render ? And did you use mesh on your scratch coat ?
I've built similar garden wall /flower bed recently (all constructed of breeze blocks) and was wondering if sbr / mesh is any good on new build walls? Also did u add any placticiser to your sand /cement mix?
Can you put lime based plasters over concrete render?
ОтветитьLooks like the camera MAN is more interested in your ARSE 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽💩💩💩💩👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
ОтветитьThankyou Mac, great helpful vid, cheers
Ответитьwhat sand should i use for render?
ОтветитьYes lad long time no see...hi did you put any waterproofing in the mix on the scratch coat what's the ground being hired behind The Wall would it make any difference to put something cheers big lad
ОтветитьI’m 3 weeks into plastering course at college nice vid mate
ОтветитьVery nice👍🏼 Please, for concrete wall plastering, how many square meters of surface area will a 50kg bag of cement cover on average (outside and inside)?
ОтветитьMaking that gear look lightweight! Top job
ОтветитьDid they render it to hide the really bad brickwork?
ОтветитьWish you was local, just had a quote for 2.5k for a small raised bed in the garden 😂
ОтветитьWill the salts in the wall cause any problems?
ОтветитьGreat Job, what kind of mix did you use? and would the same mix work on an interior wall?
ОтветитьHi do you have a video on the actual mix ie plasticiser sand cement sbr etc..
ОтветитьNo way this is nothing to do with old school rendering.
ОтветитьWhat is the mix?
ОтветитьLovely job 👍
What ratio sand/ cement do you use for scratch coat and finish coat?
if the cinder blocks are coerced, do you sand them down first? before apply treatment
ОтветитьIf you give your scratch comb a wiggle you'll get better vertical crack resistance
ОтветитьGreat videos mate, love it, building my own house here in donegal, plasterd my shed last year from watching your videos, having a crack at the house this year.
ОтветитьDo you have any information on ratios for airtec blocks I can't find anything anywhere. I am panicking that they will blow with a to strong a mix
Ответитьshame about the blockwork..
ОтветитьWould you ever scud a wall like this first, or when would you scud a block wall? tks
ОтветитьHi Mac, hope you're well. If possible would you mind to advise please:
1. Is scud coat required for this fence wall?
2. For scratch coat is better sharp sand?
3. Is better to add lime for a scratch coat or no need ?
4. How much sbr should I add to mixture?
Thanks a million for that
Did you add a primer like SBR?
ОтветитьBut what is he applying? How about 😢a formula
ОтветитьI wonder if the other side of the wall needs damp-proof process before you do rendering on another side?
Ответить'hanks.
ОтветитьDziękujemy.
