Homer: And this perpetual motion machine she made today is a joke!
Fourth Wall: Stop leaning on me!
Very happy Homer at least considers obeying the laws of thermodynamics important.
ОтветитьNo breaking of physical laws allowed in that household.
Ответить😆 wtf
this was a weird one
Idk why Bart would want a strike anyway you have to make all the time missed at the end of the school year. Crappy way to start summer vacation.
ОтветитьI was not expecting a joke as clever as a perpetual motion machine gaining energy to be told through Homer
ОтветитьKids today!. Disrespecting even the rules of thermodynamics! You know what I blame this on the breakdown of???
ОтветитьBart is turning into Norman Bates.
ОтветитьI love Lisa’s little chuckle as she enters the room
ОтветитьHomer doesn't set many rules, Lisa. I don't understand how you keep breaking them.
ОтветитьJajajajajajaja 🤣😂😂 i love Bart me in a nutshell whit My mom
Me: hello mother dear 🙂😈
Surprised there is no wind flying that kyte
ОтветитьHonestly, this IS my favorite episode. Between this, the bank run, and that's a paddlin, there's so much to love here.
ОтветитьHomer doesn’t know what his job is about, works there regardless, but is smart enough to say and know the word “Thermodynamics”.
“He’s either a criminal mastermind, or a stupid birdbrain.”
Homer: “Do I get a choice?”
I remember homer throwing the machine. Was that a cut?
ОтветитьI have been known to greet my mother sometimes with a creepy, “Hello, mother dear.” I don’t if she realizes it’s a Simpsons reference.”
ОтветитьHappy Mother’s Day
ОтветитьTBH. I’m not crazy about Bart flying a kite at night
ОтветитьIs the hello mother dear a reference to something
ОтветитьThe older i get, the more i see the neglected environment, bart, and lisa grow up in.
ОтветитьYou know what can offer boundaries and structure?
The laws of thermodynamics
I like how instead of teaching, disciplining, or structuring their OWN children they resolve to pawn it off on the school again.
ОтветитьI love how Bart seems to telepathically know his mother is watching him before he looks at her - which actually makes sense canonically because the show establishes that Bart can read people's thoughts a season earlier in "The Boy Who Knew Too Much".
ОтветитьI mean, there really is something unnerving about flying a kite at night.
ОтветитьGiven just how many clips this channel has of just this video and still finding new ones, this has to be the best Simpsons episode in history.
ОтветитьObviously Bart is trying to be Benjamin Franklin
ОтветитьBack when The Simpson's truly was the best animated show on television.
Even now, as great as South Park, Rick & Morty, ATHF, Frisky Dingo, Robot Chicken, American Dad, etc have been at different points I still think Season 6 & 7 of The Simpson's stands up to anything those shows ever did. Those seasons were absolutely iconic.
Eerily and sadly familiar after 3 years of lockdowns and homeschooling.
ОтветитьBart: Hello, mother dear!
Marge is shocked
Oh that time when Homer was smart.
ОтветитьDammit, if they'd been a bit more enterprising Lisa could've made a fortune with that machine!
Ответить“Hello mother dear”… can anyone explain this? it seems creepy?, but I just don’t get it.
Is it a Norman bates thing?
Hello Mother Dear
ОтветитьBest joke in the Simpsons
ОтветитьOne of the best scenes in all of Simpsons
ОтветитьMy favorite part was when Maggie fell from the kite bart was flying and nobody noticed.
ОтветитьThere's something about sugardancing at night that's so unwholesome.
ОтветитьI love how the perpetual motion machine just looks like a motor driving a ratcheted wheel. It makes no physical sense... but then, so does the very concept of perpetual motion.
ОтветитьNot obeying the laws of thermodynamics? That's a paddlin'.
ОтветитьThink about that though. Have you ever seen anyone fly a kite at night? Me either
ОтветитьIn this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics!
Ответитьwhat is the kite flying a reference to?
ОтветитьThis is one of my favourite things
ОтветитьHe need boundaries and structure … he looks over at her like he just know she’s watching him the whole time lol
ОтветитьThe way Bart says hello mother dear is creepy
Ответить
