Some, even many American movies show Nazis as a bit damn people, easily to be fooled. The reality is that they were very efficient and ruthless. This movie is in somewhat similar fashion, a little naive and overstretched.

Hitler invaded Norway to be a Protectorate against Great Britian. We know what the NAZI's did during WW II. After the Cold War, Putin invaded the Ukraine in 2022. Since 2014 the Russians began their conquest of this Country. The Bolsheviks from the Kremlin also entered the Ukraine as a Protectorate against the EU & NATO.

A totally fake movie. There was no gold moved by children in 1940. All is just fiction. That said, they did get a OK movie out of it.

The Church that was classroom in the film is from my village, and some of my classmates were among the children. Not me!

My teacher read this to the class when I was 7. Been trying to find it over the years

Along this same line. Read the book Summer of My Germain Soldier by Betty Greene. I’m a 78 year old woman and I’ve read the book 📕 twice. The last time was about 3 months ago. I bought the book 📕 and read it again. It isn’t a true story but a good one ☝️ and sad. The girl’s father was a horrible man. 🥺🥺

Surprisedly, a,pretty good movie. And I loved how those kids had good values, and knew the difference between right and wrong. Bravo to the parents! ❤

Such courageous children. Peter risked his live!! What Kind of a great spirit guided this kids, to help their relatives and the nation to remove the Germans from their country and evil deeds.
Finally Norway 🇳🇴 didn’t fight in vain for their liberty.

This movie was very good but it took me awhile to get into it. The beginning was a little confusing as it jumped around a bit.

I read the book as a twelve-year-old and considered it to be one of the best books I ever read. Seeing this movie is a thrill. I am now 65. Bravo!

If you check about the book on Wikipedia, by the same name, Snow, Treasure, you can learn about the discussion about what was true, and what was not. Apparently the captain of a ship claimed the children brought it, but other reports are different. Either way, there were a lot of brave Norwegian, men and women in the resistance during the war.
