Power Apps Model Driven Apps FULL COURSE for Beginners

I watched this before I spotted there is an up to date one. I did the PL200 course back in Feb and the model driven apps part just didn't sink in very well. Watching your video, I completely get it and it's made me want to work with them more!! I've only ever created canvas apps. You have a really great way of delivering and explaining, all done at a pace where you can work alongside. You've become my new guru, thank you 🙂

Question: You mentioned using the PowerApps Developer account/ Office E3 Trial. Cannot I make use of the Developer account using the Microsoft Developer Program
and build solutions and keep extending it for a lifetime without worrying about the account expiry? Thanks

i cannot see any components for the rating star symbol. i downloaded a rating.pcf zip file but how to import it to my solution? There is no import button.

This was really well done with a ton of content. I followed along with you and created the app too. I did get stuck with some permissions issues dealing with Power Automate but I will dig into that a bit. Some of the options, of course, have changed since you created this video but I was able to dig around and find them for the most part. This has demystified several things I had been pondering since taking over a 3rd party app. Thank you, You rock!!

Course would be better if you ran it throughout to debug. Building an entire application like this before ever running it once as a beginner is rough if you aren't 100% accurate on every single step that is being breezed through.

I can't seem to figure out what is missing but I can't edit column settings (want to change let's say from choice to look-up) or delete the column itself (prompts into can't be deleted due to dependencies).
Am I not in a Premium subscription? Or I just missed some settings? Company is subscribed into MS 365 but seems some interphases are not exactly as in your video Premium one.

I just love how you smile while teaching. I must say it is evident how much you enjoy this, and how your competence makes it trivial. This is some heavy work made to look simple.

Coming from a Database management / software development background, the Dataverse way of doing this introduced some curve. Having Out Of the Box Experience of ready made columns and Lookups for relationships was what i grappled with at first. After creating some of these fields on my own, I then had duplicate fields doing the same things. So, thanks again to you for making it clearer on how it is beneficial to just put minimal columns up when creating a table, while leveraging the default columns from Dataverse.

Hi LC just getting started on this journey. Question I work for a large organisation (with M365 Enterprise account) and looking to develop an asset management system (Hybrid CMMS system) using APS, Pages, flows etc. In terms of access can I allow individuals to access the app outside the organisation provided I grant permission, I'm thinking field workers employed to carry out a task on my behalf. Do I run into any licencing issues? The thought here is this is data collection 101, defined by rules (drop down values, related tables, basically a DQF to limit poor data inputs) than can be integrated back into corporate systems without the need to procure additional 3rd party platforms. PS love the videos.
