I'm drawing a hexmap with the playtest version of Mythic Bastionland by my favorite TTRPG designer, Chris McDowall. I talk about how the game is designed with the exploration of the hexcrawl as a core component of play, improving upon the optional procedures of DnD 5E. I also talk about some of my thoughts around AI art and the concerns I have for preserving the ability to attribute ideas to other human beings.
