I live in America; about 40 meters from railroad tracks and saw a train with roughly 12 of these giant windmills on flatbeds! They are soooo big; One of the best feelgood moments of my life! Build back better!

Yeah... Holly Golightly, you skip that decommissioned turbine parts, especially the wings, present an environmental problem as there's no way to reuse these materials.

Furthermore wind turbines, in farms especially, affects entire weather patterns as the steal and disrupt the wind energy.

And remember in you enthusiasm that they only work when the wind blows. And at the times where it doesn't are mostly times where we need cheap reliable energy the most.

how do wind up watches work? surely if the wind blows the turbine, when if you let it spin backwards, it can basically keep going? the wind would top up this process?

How does a turbine start if it’s stagnant? Does it take some coal fired power stations or diesel, and how much energy does that take. What if it generates too much energy what happens. Something not right about these turbines but can’t put my finger on it

I don't believe in wind turbines

Unlees in a hurricane or a tornado windmills have been operating for hundreds of years without issue. So why now they have problems of too much wind speed. Seems like a bad design.

The curved blade explanation is not accurate. This is in Wikipedia's list of common misconceptions. The lift is generated by Newton's third law, not by a pressure difference.
