Damn I’ve never been this early
ОтветитьGreat stuff Jeff 🚴 getting my Ebike 🚴 back. This week 👌 it having a full Service of my buddy 👌 enjoyed the video Jeff 🚴👌👌 great views buddy 👌🚴
ОтветитьI'm curious, what's the maintenance like on the motors of these things?
ОтветитьGorgeous setting.
ОтветитьJeff, I did the lyrik upgrade on my ebike, (rocky Mountain altitude) and what a difference with performance. It was a very cost effective upgrade to that fork. Like they should have put those parts in the fork firstly instead of offering the upgrade. Dramatic difference in suspension and would recommend!
ОтветитьGreat video Jeff!!! Just a heads up, the link you have is to the 27.5 wheel Sight VLT and not the 29er you’re riding.
I love that you kept the riding audio without music so we can hear you guys both huffing and puffing up the climbs. People who have never ridden an ebike seem to think there’s no effort put into riding since it’s pedal assisted.
Great vid, beautiful ride! When is Kendall vs. Kendall coming back I miss it!!
ОтветитьGreat video as always, wish you had the Norco Range on those Moto trails.
ОтветитьMt. St. Adams LOL
ОтветитьJeff, you are a motorcycle!
ОтветитьWhen your on moto trails you should try derestricting the bike by moving the magnet to the crank. Silly to have a "motor" bike be slower than a trail bike because of the speed limit.
ОтветитьIt is a bit silly that there are so many e bike haters out there thinking that the e bike will tear up the reg bike trails. I noticed the same thing when riding Post Canyon on my e bike when I am about the 20 mph limit it is a pig to peddle. I am going to have to try turning off the power assist. Dope video and I love to Sedona back drop. My Pops just bought a winter home down there so I hope to get to go enjoy those trails soon. Real bummer they don't allow e bikes.
Ответитьluv the manuals!
ОтветитьThe sight or the niner ?
Ответитьacoustic bike lmao
ОтветитьNext time you need walk assistance move to the center of the cassette. The motor speed is constant when in walk mode but by changing the cassette position it will change the "speed" of the assist.
Ответить@love that background, is that Sedona? If so, does that mean you may collaborate again with Nate Hills and his crew? That was when my friends and I discovered your sick stylist trail skills. I'm thinking of getting an e-bike when I'm 70. Which is tomorrow lol j/k. not yet my fatazz needs the exercise.
ОтветитьBeen wanting to try Juniper Ridge, what time of year did you ride this? Also, why are some folks saying "acoustic" bike? That word is related to sound, like with instruments and speakers. I think "analog" is more appropriate.
Ответитьlllll
ОтветитьI'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this Orbea Rise.
ОтветитьDid you change into the highest gear when using the walk mode ? You get a lot more power.
ОтветитьI’ve been arguing with locals here in Steamboat Springs that class 1 ebikes are made for mountain bike trails, not moto trails. You guys just confirmed that for me.
ОтветитьJeff on those super steep climbs try to lower your dropper. Granted not perfect pedaling efficiency for your legs but you have a motor to help. Lowering you center gravity will help reduce that tendency or feel like loop out when climbing. Roughly how was many miles was that ride?
ОтветитьOddity indeed. 🤘🏼😄
ОтветитьThanks for the honest review! I’ve been wondering about how ebikes would handle on moto trails, specifically the trails in the Dark Divide. Now I know! Also, too bad you didn’t have time to ride Dark Meadow!
ОтветитьI live in upper Midwest, so I have to travel to mtb. I try not to support places that don't allow ebikes. Europe has proven they don't do anymore harm than regular mtb's. Alot of people here have to cause alot of problems for others.
ОтветитьVery interesting. Those bikes really seem to struggle on moto trails. You mentioned there might be other ebikes suited for those kinds of climbs - presumably not with the same shimano motor? Maybe something like the Kenovo? I know you're not ebike focused but appreciate your thoughts nonetheless!
Ответитьtechniq to climb realy step climbs on ebike is lower your droper , motor will help you pedal , tyre will have more grip - i have Sight VLT and i like this bike in WALK mode put chain in lower gear and will work ..
ОтветитьYou guys were MO Tate-in!
ОтветитьJeff, you make a great point here for putting in the chip to make the motor run always with no speed limiter. Its fairly easy and a couple of companies are doing it well.
ОтветитьI got the Sight VLT A2 in December and was loving it. Then the motor chunked and I’m waiting for the replacement. Has anyone else experienced a motor failure (Shimano e7000)?
ОтветитьRiding these things on OHV trails is bananas. I’ve come across a few bikes at OHV parks and they’re scarily in the way compared to dirt bikes.
Crazy people have any issues with these emtb bikes riding normal bike trails. They literally go the same speed.
Schwalbe nobby Nicks?
ОтветитьPerfect 👌👍😍waou!!!
ОтветитьThe current stable of ebikes are all under powered for enduro riding, they are more designed for flatter flow trails imho. I think an ebike needs to have 180 - 250 nm of torque with a 3.5 : 1 gear reduction and running at least 72v. Nano technology will play a big role in the development of gears that are quiet and also durable. Hope we wont have to wait too long.
ОтветитьI see weed, i sub! Jokes aside,
Love your channel and super cool riding. Going to practice as per ur bunny hop video
So.. when's the Oso review? :)
ОтветитьMy Norco sight VLT absolutely loves Galbraith more than ever ever..ever.
