great tutorial for beginners 🫶 beanie came out really thick and cozy - ideal for autumn, i recommend making it a lil tighter tho bc it's very stretchy!

this was my first crochet project and it was a great tutorial! tip for other people: make sure when you do a slip stitch on the brim that you dont make it too tight because mine ended up being the correct length but too tight since the yarn isnt stretchy in that direction

i started this project a few days ago and only now noticed a mistake. towards the start, the top where the slip stitches are kind of dips down at one point and the entire thing from there got shorter. i’m too far gone to go back and redo it. any suggestions?

When I was sewing the top, it started to bunch.. I looked at how you sewed it carefully, and yet it still kept on bunching no matter how many times I re-sew it 💔 I'm not sure what I did wrong, I need help..

I love this pattern! I used this video to essentially teach myself to crochet and ive made four beanies that im super happy with.
What i learned that id pass on for others is that if your slip stitches are super tight you need to make them COMICALLY looser. Like ridiculously loose it feels silly. THEY WILL TIGHTEN UP!! bc omg i was fighting for my life for a while there .
