Hi! Great tutorial! I have a question nagging in my head though - if you want to apply for example bootstrap to a theme by putting the bootstrap folder inside the wordpress/wp-content/themes/(yourtheme), which is the same location as the js folder you use in this tutorial - do you really have to put a function inside functions.php for it to be applicable in this theme? Can't you just link it inside for example header.php (if you want to bootstrap your header with a script in the top giving the location of bootstrap.css and bootstrap.js? In other words, the normal way scripts would be loaded in a html/css-paired website..

I'm new to wordpress, so I'm just trying to understand what functions.php do, and why you should use that on top of linking directly to the script in the .php where you want the script to be applied. Thanks!

Hey Scott...great tuts...but here is the question i cannot figure out...I want to chenge the slider that came with a theme...and enter Flex Slider, for example...how to do it?
