My main criticism of your criticism is that here in the United States there is a niche ideology called Scientology. Every facet of Scientology is phony, yet they have effectively locked people into their program so well that they can declare their equivalent of a Jihad and brute force the government to bend a knee. A government that is infamous for going every conceivable step to bend the knee to no-one.

For a guy to exist that can visibly yank the soul out of someone, provides a very powerful platform to form a cult especially if he were using nihilism and anti-natalism which are fundamentally existing ideologies.

I would argue about the dagger, but it looks like a Necromonger dagger so it doesn't even have the excuse of being an injury sustained in the current conflict.

The Chronicles of Riddick was one of the Greatest Sci Fi Movies ever made! I suggest anyone who hasn't watched any of the 3 movies start with "The Chronicles of Riddick" then watch 1 and 3 and you'll see them for what they are, Not very entertaining!

I feel you are missing out the comparison to the Aztec Empire, a blood cult that spurned diplomacy yet through brutality and zeal managed to carve out an empire.
Brutality and zeal works in the short term, but it is devastating upon the populace, making it ruinous for the long term.
But the Necromongers don't care for the long term, they are the star that shines brightly but lives the shortest, leaving ruin in their wake.
They never were an empire to reign for millennia, instead they are an existential threat that will endeavor to kill everyone before burning themselves out.

All I could think of on this movie is that Judi earned every bloody penny.

The vid is a bit flawed as it implied cults and religions has to follow common sense and logic to operate or amasses followers.

I would still like to see a new Riddick movie with or without the Necromongers. Even if they got a spin off i would be interested to see someone do something interesting with them.

Yea, there is alot of plot holes, coincidences, and hypocrisy but, I still enjoy the movie.

I legitimately didn't know about the third live action movie. I had seen Pitch Black and Chronicles, as well as uh, whatever the animated one was called.

Out of all three this is my favorite and then Riddick was my second-favorite and then pitch black was my third favorite. I'd like to have more of this kind of movie universe but we only got the one and we all know that apparently no one else seemed to have liked it there for will never get nothing else like it again
