Why ISNT wing chun or its underform wing tsun banned in MMA but rarely anyone uses it ? "wing tsun" (springsong) is not just a fighting style, its almost purely made for selfdefense.

In a real fight , you don't ask yourself 1) whether it's legal or not, 2) whether it's wing chun or not..... You act first or you are already (severly) injured ! Those considerations make no sense in the streets !

In conclusion Wing Chun is illegal in MMA because Wing Chun was designed for killing or permanent crippling.
Although MMA is combat, it is ultimately a competition, and it would be be both unnecessary and uncivilized if one competitor comes out dead for permanently crippled in every match.
That's won't be a sport, it would be a true death match.
