What does it mean to be a financial auditor at PwC? Get the lowdown from Peter D’hondt, assurance lead and managing partner at PwC Belgium’s assurance practice since July 2020. Peter’s been with the firm for almost 29 years, having joined Coopers and Lybrand back in 1993 at the Antwerp office. “I really wanted to become a financial auditor,” says Peter. “The reason why I joined this firm was because the interaction I first had was a unique experience for me.” From day one, Peter met many new colleagues, including high-level staff. “It was very personal, very informal,” he recalls.
