Jenna is so gorgeous 😍
ОтветитьThe concept of the hero always winning but suffering for it/questioning it is such an interesting idea.
ОтветитьMy gf just broke up with me, so this scene resonates with me..
ОтветитьSince the first time I ever watched it this scene has stuck with me especially the very specific part where he says that he remembers it all every time. 7000 years and that’s nothing for what he’s just about to go through. Really feel like the ramifications of spending billions of years mentally in a torture prison would affect your mind a lot more than ever does post season nine.
Ответить400 times harder than diamond and he punched through 20 feet of it
Ответитьi cant keep doing this...
ОтветитьWhatever i do you still wont be there...
ОтветитьI like that Jenna only gets a few lines in this episode, and they’re some of the most comforting words I’ve heard. I don’t have any sob story, any life that’s harder than anyone else. This very comment section has people who have it worse than I do. But everyone has something wearing them down. Something they just want to give up on. But they can’t. “Get up off your ass and win.”
ОтветитьThis is what makes Doctor Who such an amazing show. It can be a goofy over-the-top corny Sci-fi show, then it can turn around and be incredibly deep and emotional. It has layers. Much like the Doctor himself. There's no show quite like it. There's no character quite like him. There's only the Doctor.
ОтветитьHe's in my thoughts. I dream of him, of his smile, just being near me. He won't leave me be. You still won't be there. That is what I know and hear every day I wake up, and he's not next to me.
ОтветитьThank you Richie for the clips 🙏
ОтветитьHad he not had a speech before every punch and just rapid fired it he could have gotten out much much sooner 😂
ОтветитьThis was a beautifully written episode, which is why the writing of Hell Bent was infuriatingly bad.
The hybrid plot point was nothing. There was no good reason why he was keeping the secret. It sucked ass.
This really hits deep, cause it adds a tad bit of reality. The usual trope is the Hero always wins. And usually theres no reason..but this time he questions it
ОтветитьThat moment when you realize that he's not just remembering what BIRD means - but every action of every copy of himself that's ever been put through this.
And that every Doctor that came after this one would remember.
Over - and over - and over again.
God ... this is why I love Doctor Who.
ОтветитьThis doesn’t even hit too close to home, it hit my proverbial home so hard and so accurately it's just a pile of rubble now
ОтветитьThis scene gets me through some pretty dark times. The questions "Why is it always me! Why can't I just lose!" These are questions I've asked in dealing with a chronic illness that refuses to kill me but causes me horrific indescribable pain with no treatment and no cure (ME/CFS). Every day is groundhogs day stuck in bed, in pain and agony. Every day is a rotation through the teleporter in the confession dial. This scene and this episode help me through some of the darkest days when I just want to give up.
ОтветитьThe pain in "What ever I do, you still wont be there" guts me every single time
