Best Epson EcoTank Printer for Inkjet and Sublimation Crafting!

What are the differences between the Epson 2400 vs. 2850? Besides price, what are the pros and cons for sublimation printing?

Oh Jennifer the more I look at videos now the more confused I am getting. I make earrings with sayings on them and I want to start back putting pictures on them using a product called Kraft Tex. Because my sayings of which I have more than 100, I have used an Epson monochromatic printer, so now it looks as if I will need two printers. What I want to know is can the Epson 2000 and 3000 print on Kraft Tex. Kraft Tex is a tough paper that is washable, sewable, paintable and can also go through the embossing and die cutting process very successfully. Thank you for the informative video.

Hi Jennifer, can I use pigment ink in the ecotank? I see that Epson has its own 542 pigment ink and many thrid party options. do you have any recommendations for the pigment ink?

I always run into the issues with the Eco Tanks , Lines through my images, yes I clean heads and etc. Another issue is if you don't run these at least once a week then the ink will dry up and then you may as well throw the unit away.

Why do you most often choose to use the Eco Tank 3850 instead of the F170? I am concerned about the warranty issue.

What is the best EcoTank for beginners but still print good. Like what is the difference in prints from the 4760 to the 2803 to the 4850? I'm trying to purchase one based off of your videos. I'm just curious on what the actual difference is with color/printing/etc for Sublimation between the three

another question, when you for the test print and have sublimation ink in the tanks, do you use regular printer paper to test or is sublimation paper necessary?

I have the epson wf 7720 and recently it registers no ink on my computer, however the printer sees the amount of ink I really have. Why isn’t my computer seeing I have ink when I’m in silhouette ? I need help , I can’t afford a new printer!!!

How does one charge the inks when it s not the initial charge. ( my 2720 prints black only, ive done everything... even a power flush/wash) I'm assuming the ink has not going through the lines, I even get alerts to always check ink levels ( the levels are almost full), Do u think i need to charge the inks? thanks

Please advise all of you followers that Epson will void your warrantee and will not help you once you put sublimation ink into it.

Hi Jennifer, I’m looking into purchasing a purchasing and Epson Eco tank 5180. I’m needing larger print size. I found 5180 is cheaper to purchase than the 8000 series and 15000. Can you give me your opinion?

Ecotank 3830 has a front loading tray. Perhaps you should open the box.

can you do print and cut on a sublimation printer?

How often do you need a rear-feeding printer for sublimation crafting? For regular inkjet printing I will sometimes use thicker paper for my craft so I need a rear-feeding printer. I would like to get into sublimation crafting. Would I often need a rear-feeding printer to make sublimation tumblers, shirts and the like?

I have the 3000 series for sublimation, it works great! I’ve not had a problem yet. I also have a 4000 series for regular inkjet printing. Eco tanks are awesome.

Im, so confused can you please help me, i know you talked about all the printers , but im old and can not sit in front of a computer very long watching a video because my back goes in to a spasm, i have back problems.. CAN, you Please tell me what printer is good to print out thick cardstock on for paper crafts like journaling, and scrapbooking that have bright colors.. every time i print something out , my images look very light and dull looking with my cartridge hpprinter.. im, wanting to get a eco tank for printing out stuff for crafts, and every day printing out school papers and i use a lot of thick cardstock.. Angie Holden has a video on how to schedule your printer to print while you’re away on vacation. You have to leave plain paper in the printer so that it can print every week during this time.

I have an Epson ECOTANK 2803 for sublimation, and I love it. I never turn it off, and I print every week.

A friend turned hers off and didn’t print every week, and when she got ready to print some transfer, she discovered that it was clogged. So I print for her. She has tried several things to get it going again, but nothing worked.

Hi Jennifer, This is a great video thank You for making it. I want to know if you have a video for unclogging and ecotank 2800. Also while setting up another brand new Epson 2800 I printed a test page and it was blank. I tried everything to get some ink. Do you think it is clogged?

Do the ones with paper tray still have the option to print from the back? For printing thicker card stock and such?

Would you recommend a refurbished Epson EcoTank? I wasn't sure since the previous owner used the regular eco tank ink.

However, I realized after watching this video that my drivers were either not installed or were out of date.... NOW I can set print quality and print Media whereas before those options did not show up. Thank you SO much! I just bought the Cricut Maker so now I will be printing and cutting up a storm...this was just in time !

This video really helped me out because last night I was able to setup my ET2850 in less than 20 minutes all by myself. Paper jams happen from the ream due to excess paper dust. Fanning it clears the dust. When it goes through the printer it gets on the paper feeder rollers. Wipe it off with rubbing alcohol gets the dust off the roller and you see less jams.
