Get Started with Creality Slicer (for New Printer Owners)

Hello! Like most of the audience watching your video (which is excellent by the way!) I am a complete beginner. I am struggling to open the Creality Slicer even after I have downloaded it. After double clicking the icon in the applications folder, the icon briefly enlarges and fades away at the same time, just like in the video. However, nothing opens after roughly a minute of waiting. What am I doing incorrectly?

We just got my daughter a new printer. Tons of videos, they were good, but miss explaining some steps. This was the most informative one yet. Thank you.

The auto supports in this program seem a bit OVERKILL and are very hard to remove. Anyone have a better slicer recommendation that doesnt print your model in a block of excess PLA?

We got my son an Ender 3 V3 KE for Christmas….we’ve printed a few boats (stock print for testing) and we are currently printing a Fnaf Freddy Fazbear we were able to slice and print because of this video! So excited! Thank you SO much, this video was very helpful!

Thank you so much for your great video. So I understand we can install the slicer app on a Macbook, after we are done with the slicing, will I be able to save the model file to my Macbook and copy it on the SD card and load it into the printer or I should use a Windows laptop for that? Thank you

I had some issues installing the slicer on Mac. Thankfully I have a windows machine, and that worked fine on windows. Just sliced it and put it in my cloud drive and downloaded it on the mac which had the memory card slot to go into the printer.

Thank you for the informative video! I'm having issues when slicing and putting on my printer, the head wants to start printing in the lower left corner even though the .stl is positioned in the center of the bed when slicing. Any ideas to fix this?

creality slicer is absolute garbage, if you take the time to learn orcaslicer and its many (MANY MANY MANY MANY) settings, you will not be dissapointed, and it has access to better supports and settings to truly unlock your K1's speed

thank you! geez, i've felt so DUMB with this thing! now, will you show me how to have it generate a tree support? i found this incense waterfall, and the notes say it has to be printed with a generated tree support, and i don't even know what that IS!

I just printed my very first 3d print ever. I'm hyped and nervous to make mistakes with my new ender 3 V3. Question: Do I need to remove filament after every print. No one talks about this basic basic stuff.
Can I leave the filament in or should remove it after every print and also do I need to clean with the needle or does clean itself when re heating?

I downloaded this software and everytime I slice something the software closes.

I can't get my ender-3s1 plus to read the file I saved! My list are always blank! Is it my printer?

My creality slicer 4.8 doesnt list ender 3 s1 or Pro. I have the S1 pro, and it just doesnt list any S1. everything else is listed. What do I do? I cant find out online
