Thanks for your video. Very recognizable. I’m currently at that phase where you are “the guy with the camera” and shooting for free. Fortunately I’m financially independent coz otherwise I would be living in a really small house
ОтветитьMuch appreciated.. I definitely soaked up a lot of info
ОтветитьI loved the last few sentences. Great video!!
ОтветитьWas this just a glorified ad?
ОтветитьOhh wow you’re from the chi, instant follow
ОтветитьThis is great advice for a newbie like me. I'm getting a camera very shortly and Autumn to Winter has great events for me to practice in different situations, Halloween, Christmas and a trip to Norway in the dead of winter.
ОтветитьSolid video! Very authentic and great advice for new photographers. Thanks.

Ответить"At every job you should either EARN or LEARN ... " or so the saying goes. Now if you apply that to free client work, where of course you don't earn, then you can always look at the brighter side by knowing YOU ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING TO LEARN from anything - free client work or otherwise.
Ответитьthank you this is very helpful :)
ОтветитьYour work is amazing, thanks for sharing.
Ответитьlol, I already use pictime but didnt know about the blog feature. I'll have to try it!

ОтветитьThank you so much Eric! Your advice is something special, you pointed out so many small and important details. I'm so inspired now, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for all this info. Pd: youll get blind if you still putting that strong light in front of your eyes.
ОтветитьThanks so much bro!
ОтветитьSo glad this popped up. Thank you for sharing controversial material.
ОтветитьGreat video. I subbed. Cheers
ОтветитьHow do you learn what to charge for your work?
ОтветитьClicking on this video was an accident, but I'm so glad that I did the thing that stood out for me was "get bored and create" as someone who is always trying to consume, being bored feels weird, like I'm not productive enough, I'm not living life to the fullest, yet I lack the creative space to just think. I felt like it was good advice, not a career I'm interested in but if I was, I know where to come back to this video!
ОтветитьThanks you. This was a very helpful video for someone looking to get back into photography.
ОтветитьShoot for free? Man, here in Indiana I can’t even get people to model for me when I offer to pay them $60/hour.
Somehow, even though the town has hundreds of thousands of people in it, I haven’t found a single one that is willing to model for me outside of my family. I even put up flyers and made an Instagram. I don’t get it. It often feels like Hoosiers in general just have this profound distaste for the arts.
❤
Ответитьintro song- jealous by eyedress
ОтветитьAs a starting photographer I only focussed on pregnancy, newborn and couples but I am getting bored of it. Last weekend I made an amazing portrait of my sister and then it hit me, why limiting myself? My work is absolutely gorgeous! You just inspired me more to go and experiment.
ОтветитьAs a beginner.
How do you compete with everyone else in the market flooded with professionals taking all the leads and money off the table.
How to maintain control of photos and get paid without having to pay fees on some photo platform.
ОтветитьA business mentor of mine said. " you can't give it away for free, don't charge". It always made sense to me because if you can't give your product/service away, it's not good enough for someone to pay for it.... side bar thank you for these FREE & HELPFUL tips ❤.
ОтветитьI have just, ever so lightly, began to take photos of things/activities that interest me. I’ve been taking photos of friends and family and sharing them without any intent to charge. I’ve been doing both black and white film and digital so far.
ОтветитьI love this video! It gave me hope and inspiration to actually go out and take pictures and slowly become a wonderful Photographer like I have always wanted and dreamed of... Thanks so much!!! 😄
