ОтветитьMagnifique
ОтветитьI need that microphone setup!
Ответитьthis chopin etude is so underplayed! but this hits home
ОтветитьThis is the cover I've been looking for. Brilliant 🎶🎶🎶
ОтветитьI think from the first note i had tears rolling, that was beautiful.
ОтветитьI fr cried listening to this
ОтветитьThis study always makes me picture a beautiful but coy young woman ( the right hand ) being courted by a young man who is clearly passionate about her, and is serenading her with all his romantic efforts (the left hand- the cello here). One knows from the start that she is favourable towards him, but she is going to make him work for her hand. He has to prove his worthiness. Fortunately, he has charm to spare and wins her over with his loving melodies, so in the end she surrenders and all ends happily for them both.
ОтветитьJust wondrous! Anyone else here because of the mention in "Oh William" by Elizabeth Strout?
ОтветитьThis is a phenomenal motivation for all who wants to tell a musical story to the audiance - absolutaly outstanding!
ОтветитьFrédéric Chopin's Étude, Op. 25, No. 7 is a beautiful and challenging piece. Sol Gabetta's interpretation on cello is simply mesmerizing. A must-watch for all classical music lovers! 👍
ОтветитьChopin's elegy for his friend Bellini, who had died during the composition of op.25. It utilised the opening phrase from teneri figli, the opening aria of Act 2 in Norma, Chopin's favourite opera. In the aria the opening was played by the cello solo, and this arrangement immediately reveals the source of Chopin's inspiration.
ОтветитьOh my god, where do I find the sheet music for this piece. I can only find the solo piano etude, I need to play this in my life time
ОтветитьIs it transposed?!?
ОтветитьBravo maestro !!!
Ответитьunbelievable performance by Sol Gabetta with such emotional intensity and delicacy that made me left speechless. What an artist she is..Bravissimo
ОтветитьSublime musicality. What does such mastery bring you? The almighty undistorted and undiluted truth, the spirit of life itself in all its beauty and tragedy.
ОтветитьFrederick, not that I presume I'm on a first-name basis with the guy, gave the world so much beauty. But it doesn't shout out at you, you have to want to appreciate it. The subtle changes in tone, timing , duration is just brilliant 'coloring in'. Sometimes just a note that is slightly slow can mean so much. The amount of atmosphere and emotion, which is abstract information, that his music can stimulate, with so little notes, is sometimes masterpieces in minimalism for me. I'm a fan.
This performance is fantastic by the way. Really does the piece justice.
As a professional cellist, this is the best interpretation of this piece. ❤
ОтветитьTwo wonderful ladies who give life to the notes on the page, and transcend time.
ОтветитьWhat a breathtakingly beautiful piece! These wonderful performers bring tears of melancholic joy to my eyes.
ОтветитьBravo M. Chopin. This transcription is beautiful and performers try to give justice to this high music in Human history. For me, it is a bit to fast and there is not enough mystery and heart. But the music have...
Ответить❤️❤️❤️🔥❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьIt's like it's composed for cello and piano, and this key too.
Ответитьmuazzam
ОтветитьBelíssimaaa
ОтветитьThis is not C# minor... this is E minor. playing is good but i dont like this key's qualities for this music
ОтветитьSol y Polina nos regalan esta excelente interpretación del estudio de Chopin que es un verdadero poema musical!!!
ОтветитьThis Etude is dreamy! So beautifully played by these wonderful musicians. I love this ❤ Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment to the rest of the world.
ОтветитьMy God what a masterpiece.
ОтветитьThis is so beautiful! Thank you for the tears. Oh... ❤️❤️❤️
Ответитьso sad
ОтветитьJe suis complètement in love de cette interprétation. Je l'ai vue au moins 10 fois. J'ai même fait l'amour en l'écoutant et c'était incroyablement fort et érotique.
ОтветитьCoughing then is a way of showing how considerate you are by not coughing during the music. Pretentions Sherlock, pretentions.
ОтветитьOmg she’s amazing and so is the pianist
ОтветитьThe main motive reminds me of the prelude of the second act of Bellini's Norma. Think that they are the same first eight notes or so...
ОтветитьFunniest fingers of all cellists :-D
Ответить...and Two Set Violin tarnish the image of this beautiful musical instrument.
Ответитьjust tears
Ответить연주가 너무 아름답네요
ОтветитьThat is the sexiest cello playing I have ever seen in my life.
ОтветитьHow do I find the cello part?
ОтветитьWow... the phrasing and dynamics are just beautifully done. This is a wonderful performance... thank you!
ОтветитьNo comment. Only tears.
ОтветитьGorgeous! Seldom do I feel satisfied when I hear an arrangement, but this I find not only totally satisfying, but absolutely sublime. As pianists we are always advised "Play this melody with a warm, singing tone...like a cello". Sol Gabetta, with her warm, singing tone and innate musicality, plays it exactly as Chopin must have imagined it. Brava!
ОтветитьAmazing!
