Dr. Grant (Sam Neill) and the remaining survivors are trapped in a turf battle between a T-Rex and the ferocious Spinosaurus.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Director Joe Johnston takes over the creative reins from Steven Spielberg for this third installment in the thriller franchise. Sam Neill returns as Dr. Alan Grant, a scientist who's tricked by wealthy couple Paul and Amanda Kirby (William H. Macy and Tea Leoni) into a fly-over of Isla Sorna. The object of their sightseeing tour is one of the Costa Rican islands populated by ferocious, genetically bred dinosaurs and the "site B" setting of Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World (1997). After their plane crash-lands, it's revealed that the Kirbys are actually seeking their teenage son, lost on the island after a paragliding accident. Trapped on Isla Sorna, Grant and his companions discover some painful truths the hard way. Among their discoveries: some of the scaly monsters possess more advanced communicative abilities than previously believed, the dreaded Tyrannosaurus Rex has a larger and more lethal competitor, and flying Pteranodons pose an even graver threat than some of their land-locked brethren. Jurassic Park III is the first in the series not to be based upon a novel by original author Michael Crichton.

Me: DAMMIT AMANDA! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS SCREW THINGS UP?!
he thing tha irritates me the most about this scene (yes, even more than the fight between the two beasts being so lame) is that they show the TRex leaving his big fat food to go after some tiny bony humans. Dinosaurs were animals, not human hater monsters, and no carnivore animal would abandon a big dead prey they are already feasting on to chase another living one, much less a much smaller one that clearly isn't worth the effort. Would a wolf, for example, run after a mouse while eating a moose just beacouse the mouse walks by? I don't think so.

Not a better movie than the first 2, but still a better movie than the last 3. Dominion was a joke.. every character was an invincible action hero smh.. zero Stakes and a plot about big bugs and clones... boring af

The fact that we were going to get a longer battle but the trex head for the animatronic was decapitated make me kind of sad, this fight still is hype to me

For me, it’s just awesome to see two massive predators duke it out. Scientific inaccuracies aside, seeing two theropods go toe to toe is just awesome. No music, no military intervention, just primal violence. Up until this point, all we saw in the Jurassic franchise was Rexy kill the raptors and gallimimus, the Rex’s kill people, but nothing like this. To me it’s like a call back to the old stop motion dinosaurs fighting I saw when I was kid, but just more modern.

Worst Jurassic park movie terrible story the characters suck the old characters are ruined what was established in the first movie is sh$t on the cgi on the dinosaurs is blurry the animatronics are stiff and this fight scene is just a giant pile of BS when the T. rex bites down on the neck of the spino that’s it fights over those jaws are met to crush bone

Although the Bull Rex lost, there's no denying this T-Rex put up more of a fight compared to other Rexes, while comparable to Rexy against the I-Rex.
