not gonna lie, Yukhoe is my favorite korean food hands down. I could eat that paired with rice all day everyday.

I left south Korea when I was a baby.. went back at the age of 5.. have some memories, but have not been back since.. but I still to this day eat as much Korean food and cook Korean food and have passed on my Korean history to my kids.

I stayed in a hotel near Gwangjang and I eat there every day. I love the food there and as long as you speak basic Korean you will be fine.

Sorry if this is a taboo for the raw beef sashimi I would literally put the raw beef into the soup LOL I like rare or blue as they call it where it's still moving after you grill it but I've never eaten raw like that

Ahh Kim Bob. When I used to teach English to Korean students in Coquitlam, Canada there was a small sushi place nearby run by a Korean guy. I preferred Kim Bob but was the only Caucasian Canadian customer that always ate it vs. Sushi. The owner was so happy, every time I would order he would say "You like Kim Bob?" I would say. "I love Kim Bob". Then he had the biggest smile, every time he said that because he enjoyed how someone preferred Korean style "sushi" rolls.
