I was confused by what Yuji said at first but now that im reading the comments and discussions it seems the words Yuji said arent entirely correct in translation. Well I mean they are right but not as well?

When he said "The next words that spilled from my lips made everything I said in the past feel like a lie". I initially thought it meant Yuji was throwing everything he once stood for and his ideals in to the garbage bin. Which I guess you argue is true but doesnt hit what Yuji means as well.

I think the more correct translation would be "The next words that spilled from my lips resonated from so deep within myself it made everything I've said in the past feel half-assed". Hes not exactly turning his back on everything hes done till that point and his ideology, but what he said was so true and so deep from his core it outshined everything else in his life.

Idk i dont know Japanese but thats just what i picked ip from everyone else's explaination, feel free to correct me.

This scene still gives me goosebumps. No unnecessary powerups, just pure rage because of a lost loved one.

i really liked how this is actually a realistic rage moment, you can see the build up before he even speaks... you could also tell with his choice of words (which was different on the manga) that he really is angry... he doesn't just go apeshit with the words, he still has his composure. plus the background, similar to gon's rage, there was some electricity kind of thing... or fire if i say so myself... it represents thousands emotions and thoughts that all he could do is to say those words... and as he says "i will kill you!" he didn't actually scream it... he says it menacingly, plus the tension, and his eye getting strains from him getting angry... and still, even if he was really mad, he doesn't lose the kind of person that he is... as for he doesn't just say it right away, there are still thoughts behind it. 10/10 voice acting.

this is one of those times im glad i watched the first season in its entirety before going to read the manga. this and Fushigiro's domain expansion. the black fist wombo combo, the dual in sync black fists frkm Yuuji and Nobara. fucking mint...now im caught up in the manga and fucking depressed so...least I'll have this to look back on lol

Probably one of the most perfectly crafted rage scenes in anime. It doesn’t give Yuji a power up at all, he just screams his lungs out as he desperately tries to kill Mahito whilst also being pierced by several protrusions and spikes

I haven't read the manga might start that soon but so far itadori Vs mahito in the high school is my favourite fight in the series so far. Looking forward to what happens in season 2
