What a fantastic video. It’s easy for anyone to see that a lot of work went into this.
Ответитьvolume is too loud
ОтветитьThe way you say Galaga, thought probably correct, os the worst thing ive ever heard in my life. And Taylor Swift is currently popular
ОтветитьNintendo had Mario Bros, Sega had Sonic, and TG16 had Galaga? And baseball? That explains a lot.
Ответить340k veiws and only 5k likes....
Ppl are so ungrateful.
Great video thanks 👍
NO ONE CALLS IT GULL-LOG-AH!!!
ОтветитьNEC TG16 Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They had a ton of great games and they did not capitalize on what they had. As a kid I remember reading on on EGM about all the great games in Japan for the TG16 and eagerly awaited them to come to the US. Sadly the games never came and I remember buying anything I could find for my beloved system. Had they brought Street Fighter II to the US it would have been a game changer for them but they kept the best stuff in Japan and never gave us the good stuff here in the US. They sealed their fate here with the lack of software.
Ответитьawesome , cool channel subbed !!!
ОтветитьMy mans saying Galaga like a damn alien
ОтветитьFor me 1989-92 was my fav time in gaming. Loved having both the Turbo and Genesis. The games in those first three years were amazing
Ответить399$, with the inflation 800$, but there was no difficulty to buy it with a standard job 😂
ОтветитьGalaga like Gonzaga instead of Galaga like Galaxy is sending me fam
ОтветитьWhat an excellent video to pay tribute to turbografx16 which is always in the background and never receives coverage as compared to every other video game system of the era. I remember going in to FAO Schwartz in Manhattan as an 12 year old kid in 1989 and playing fighting street on the CD rom. The line was a mile long. With that huge price tag I would never see it for Christmas. I am fortunate enough now as an adult to own one. Unforgettable nostalgia. Thanks
Ответить"Guh law gaw "?? Wtf. It's.
"Ga li ga!!" Jeeze
You can say there are 2 ways to pronounce "Galaga", but I've never heard anyone else pronounce it the way you've chosen to (I was a beast at that game).
ОтветитьEvery time I hear him pronounce Galaga, I die a little bit inside. It's so painful to hear.
Ответитьthe tg was better the mroe stoned I was. I loved getting baked and playing bloody wolf, silent debuggers, and dungeon explorer.
ОтветитьAwesome video
Ответить"Wise from your gwave" always makes me smile.😄
Ответить"Timing is everything. If you're not in the right place at the right time, you'll never make it"- Lemmy Kilmister.
ОтветитьIs no one say Ga-La-Ga? No. No one
ОтветитьIt’s 1988 NYC and the skinheads have kidnapped Madonna, and you have to take the law into your own hands.
ОтветитьThese annual roundup episodes are evergreen. Love returning to them. I imagine doing one for each year would be a Herculean effort.
Ответитьunn... PCEngine did not come with turbo controllers, the turbo controller was sold separately
ОтветитьTG16 was better than a lot of the 'other' systems of its time, just needed better marketing. And longer controller cables!!
ОтветитьBlazing Lasers, Bonks, and Splatter house were my favorite games on that console.
ОтветитьI can't believe it took me so long to find this channel!!?? Truly excellent content. The algorithms should be ashamed.
ОтветитьSplatter House seems the type of game that you wouldn’t expect in the 80’s as it seemed gory games only because popular after the original Mortal Kombat (which there was an explosion of gory games). It’s kind of like how after Grand Theft Auto 3 there was and explosion of games that were similar to GTA 3
ОтветитьI’ve always thought the letter “Z” is the only letter in the alphabet that the English and Americans pronounce differently. Here in England we say “Zed” where as in America you say “Zee”
ОтветитьThe Japanese imports were not cheap! $79.99! And up!
ОтветитьI still have my game collection 😄
ОтветитьI used to play that game at my best friends house lol 😆
ОтветитьDragon Spirit was a tough game to play especially on the TurboGrafix
ОтветитьStill have my TurboDuo,
Ответить"Galaga, also known as Galaga" ;D
ОтветитьStill waiting for a Neutopia 3
Ответить💪🏼😎
ОтветитьHow many people played this in radio shack for years, but never actually owned one???
ОтветитьNever in all my 48 years on this Earth have I heard Galaga, pronounced 'Guh-la-guh' I've only heard 'Gala-ga'. Interesting.
ОтветитьWISE FWOM YO GWAVE
ОтветитьI loved my turbografx
ОтветитьI still dont get the decision to not have Legendary Axe on the Turbo Mini. The games on there are triumphant, but there has just got to be a reason that title isnt on there. The second Axe too. That game had some music that was just too "feels."
ОтветитьGuh-La-Guh? Never heard it said that way. Everyone I knew said Gal-A-Gah
Ответить
