What was Chelsea using to control the strobe?
ОтветитьThe RF 28-70mm f2 is the best lens ever made
By a large degree.
You both are great and truly I am learning both from u in different perspectives and it's really helpful, thanks
Ответитьmy favorite portrait lens is the Pentax 85 mm f1.4
Ответитьwait a minute, how was the background blurred in post?
ОтветитьHow about the 135 1.8? It is a boken monster !!
ОтветитьThey got emotional😂
ОтветитьI really like the Canon EF100 f2. It is surprisingly good. It’s super sharp and light. Doesn’t draw attention and if you have the working space you can get good sniper candida.
Ответить85mm f1.4
ОтветитьWould a 70- 300 be good too?
ОтветитьLot of people claim that 50mm is best portrait lens, I think that too. Bokah in post sounds amature :)
ОтветитьThe next time you capitalize and bold-face PROFESSIONAL, you might want to include all the letters. For that profesional look. Seriously, love your series. Keep on!
ОтветитьGreat stuff as usual. Thanks.
ОтветитьThe Lady is 100% correct;)
ОтветитьThe canon 100mm macro lens is a great portrait lens and the cheapest lens in my bag. Its light fast and the bokeh is unbeatable.
ОтветитьI think the Zeiss 85mn f1.4 beats all the lenses in this video
ОтветитьZooms cannot touch prime lenses when it comes to picture quality, I loved my Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D until I started shooting with the older primes and now I dont even look at it anymore. Zooms also make photographing boring and lazy
Ответитьhaha... seing Chelsea batteling Tony about the Bohek at the end finally made my decission to hit that "subscribe" button 🙂
ОтветитьMy favorite is 24-70 and 85 for portraits and studio shots.
ОтветитьHaha Chelsea doing everything she can to bring out Tony's emotions and he has the same look every time 😅😂
ОтветитьMy favorites are Sigma 56mm 1.4 apsc and Minolta 100mm 2.8 Macro with Sony a6600
ОтветитьI like the Sigma 105 F1.4, the only complain is its huge size and weight but outstanding even better than 85mm DG DN F1.4. Other favorite is the Fujifilm GF 110mm F2.0, the best of 85mm or equivalent for GFX system better than a lot of 85mm F1.2, this lens is the reason I won't be getting a 85mm F1.2 full frame lens.
ОтветитьI’ll be shooting wigs on models so true color and definition. I’m fairly new so I bought a Canon R8 and a 35, 50, and 85mm RF 1.8 lenses. Any recommendations is helpful, also I’m gonna check out that photography website. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьIf you're going to start off with the word 'professional' you may want to spell it correctly in the clip heading. Nothing says 'amateur' like spelling errors. Attention to detail.
ОтветитьI'm going to hook my RF 50MM f/1.2 to my Canon R7 to see what it looks like before I take it to Disneyland. I'm sure it's going to be absolutely gorgeous! But I'm here specifically trying to find out what the 85MM f/2 looks like on an R7 but so far no luck. Nobody seems to have tested that combination.
ОтветитьYou just lost ROFL, Never argue with a PR woman, dad tried that didn't work out, but they were married for 62 years :)
ОтветитьI shot a whole wedding last Sunday with a 50mm lens, and it's awesome. By the way, I own 50mm, 70-200mm, 24-70mm, and 85mm.
ОтветитьQuality work. Thanks for the reviews.
ОтветитьSigma dg dn 105 macro for L mount. Portrait Bokeh and good reach with compression and macro as icing on the cake.
ОтветитьOk, guys make ur mine
Ответитьi have to ask,, what is in the hot shoe?
Ответитьtony/chels. . . . . u guy r a match made in heaven. tony u get to shoot a gorgeous wife to demonstrate your reviews. chels, BIF/wildllife is there for the kill. been following u guys forever.
ОтветитьSorry Tony is right. lol
ОтветитьPPA sponsorship is lost for a large portion of your audience as we are not in America! 😅
ОтветитьSony 24-70 F2 🎉
ОтветитьSkip the mediocre zooms and go with fast Primes. 85,35, 135/105, 180/200 primes are the way to go. A zoom will never get you the best image for portraits. On a budget go with a nifty fifty prime.
ОтветитьIs there an equivalent Nikon lens to the Sony G Master?
ОтветитьAs an "old school" portrait and wedding photographer I'll take my Nikkor 105mm all day long. Glad to see you promoting PPA.
Ответитьthe flare at first is so annoying
ОтветитьY'all are going to call me crazy but I have been using a Sony A6400 with the Sigma 18-50 F2.8 and a Sigma 30 F1.4 with good results. At a 16x20 the portraits look awesome! Knowing what you are trying to communicate with a portrait is 70% of the "gear". The equipment in the hands of a skilled person can then get the job done.
ОтветитьWhat trigger are you using on your canon, Chelsea?
ОтветитьNikon 135 2023 now
ОтветитьTony: ..but more bokeh.
Chelsea: Hold my beer.
mic drop. 🤣🔥
In all honesty, doing it in post is perfect for photographers with a lower budget, love how they always give options.
I myself use the sigma 70/200 because i got a terrific deal on it although it was not my first choice and at the end of the day, it's a great lens too, comparable to those three.
ОтветитьYou guys share great fun and enthusiasm, alongside the knowlege and experience ! Your work is highly appreciated !!!
Ответитьto me the 50mm f1.2 is the goto - but I am adding a 70-200 to my bag now...
ОтветитьWhat is the tool called (3.57) on top of the camera?
ОтветитьWhile I have primes, for most work where I don't need the reach of the 70-200, I use the RF 28-70. The F2.0 gives a little more bokeh, I don't have to zoom with my feet, and just works. The 2 drawbacks are price and weight. Not being petite, this lens works great for me.
