This song is definitely post success of footloose, while he transitions to danger zone. It's really hard to not like his singles. You've got to be a really depressing person to be around if you can't. There's literally something wrong with you.

I had this as a 45 upon release. I bought everything, apparently! If it was on MTV, I went looking for it. My 45 collection is hilarious, horrifying and impressive, all at the same time. The Hooters, this, Cyndi Lauper, Young MC, Paul Young, Band Aid, Huey and the boys, J. Geils Band, INXS, etc.

What is VOX HUMANA?

Yikes! This really hasn't aged well at all!

Some ppl might say this is too 80's or way too much synthesizer but I don't really mind it. It's catchy, upbeat and playful and it fits right in with his other hits of the 80's. The album itself (Vox Humana ) was also very strong.

Fun Fact: The woman on the keyboard is singer Marilyn Martin. She wasn't really a member of Kenny's band but did do background vocals on couple of his songs. She also sang the 1985 smash hit "Seperate Lives" with Phil Collins.
