Question..if your key card is 1st card turned over from left,is there card the first turned over card from opposite end?

OMG i did this trick when i was 8 years old

Best card trick ever.
You spread the cards and have the volunteer pick one. Have them place it in the deck. Have a platform that hides their hands from you and have them shuffle the cards below the platform as you stare them in the eyes. Have them place the deck on top the platform. Start nudging cards one at a time until they tell you to stop. Take that card they stopped on and flip it over. Ask "Is this your card" and watch their stunned reaction as you produce their exact card.

This trick is absolutely guaranteed to work 1 out of 52 times.

okay, i still don't get it.

iv done this trick ... over and over and over again , it dosent work . the card always goes on the right side OR dosent even show up and yes i have followed every single step

If your spectator can't riffle you can reverse the piles, do their card's pile face down and the other pile face up. That way you also ensure they don't mess up your deck while you're turned around.

Trick doesn't work. After the riffle shuffle the selected card gets placed further away from the anchor card (top card)

This is a good card trick, im 12 years old and, i have learned magic for like 3-4 years now and i was able to figure how this trick was done without the tutorial but this could get my family or friends pretty good :)

for me my spectators card is always on the right. is there a reason for this?

Here’s how to do it so spectator does not have to shuffle:
Tell them to cut and look at bottom card and turn pile face down. Then you turn the other pile face up and riffle shuffle it in. Then have them cut and trick goes on as usual, just flip the whole deck over.

Luckily, my gf can riffle shuffle lol. I tried this and another trick and they worked perfectly! She was amazed. I showed her the secret later lol. As a beginner, I enjoyed pulling these tricks off. Once I get sleight of hand better I can try the more advanced tricks. I really enjoy your vids and thank you for getting me into magic.

I can only get this trick to work about a quarter of the time. I don’t think my audience of children can follow directions….
