I drive a 2020 Subaru outback 2.5i premium but would swap in a heartbeat if Toyota brought out a Camry station wagon again

The outback is also the most successful station wagon, by far. for every 20 station wagons sold, 17 of them are outbacks. Subaru sells five times more outbacks than every other station wagon sold by everyone else combined. granted, part of that is probably them changing and marketing the outback as more of a SUV.

Station wagons are so much better of a design than SUVs, Station wagons carry just as much if not more. can still tow, Have better aerodynamics,Lower Center of gravity so less likely to rollover,And do well with snow tires. the Volvo v60 is a proper Wagon

i never really like SUV's, it always rub me the wrong way, but these station wagons, it is perfect, it has that being humble appeal to it, while the SUV's comes off as arrogant, so the station wagon gets my win and my money, i better buy a couple, before the price goes up😜

I bought a 2019 VW Alltrack SE for $25, 000 right before they were discontinued int the US, and they are currently selling for $30,000 and up used. It was the best purchase of this kind I have ever made, as it is a far better vehicle than their current SUV offerings. I hope to drive it for many years.

Only the Cross Country versions of the Volvo wagons are available in the states anymore.😒

Based on the prices of the sporty handling ones starting above 45,000, a sport back might be a cheaper option that still has more space. Acura Integra, Kia Stinger, and Volkswagen Arteon are all aiming to be sportier with prices starting below $45,000.

Such a shame we can't get the Volkswagen Golf Alltrak anymore. You don't need to be rich to appreciate space and realize that SUVs just aren't fun to drive.

Great presentation…thanks for sharing. I drive an A6 Avant which I’d love to replace with the RS6 Avant when I hit the lottery. Another nice wagon is the Jaguar XF Shooting Brake though it has been dropped from distribution to North America. The Mercedes CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake is another awesome wagon that I’d like to see in North America (though I have no idea how I’d afford it)

I'd be hard pressed to call the Outback a wagon. I own a 99 legacy outback and I feel like the new ones are more crossover than wagon relative to the older ones. Long live the wagon

Throwing in the Subaru Outback is misleading; Subaru classifies it as a Crossover (unibody version of the SUV).

Great topic...perhaps also mention if Canada had anything the US doesn't and vice versa. Also I asked a bunch of people with 2021 F54's and they no longer have lashing points in the trunk, regardless of what packages they have with the car.
