Very nicely done! curious though as to why you were assigned a 7000 transponder code for hard IMC and also basic service over traffic service as clearly you required radar for any traffic information.
ОтветитьDamn . Single engine IFR. Challenging. Hand flying, dialing in the next ATC frequency also a challenge. Well done.
ОтветитьWhat is Radar Supression?
ОтветитьPilot and ATC acting like newly weds, with the guy on the co-pilot's seat simply fifth wheeling
ОтветитьBrits different flying. Like driving in Uk. Upside down. Forget it. Contact tower after fk up ? Haa
ОтветитьNice stable approach and solid smooth touchdown!!!
ОтветитьYou show the potential for the "startle" effect very well, when you fly into cloud on the climb out.
ОтветитьDude! Nobody cares what it looks like outside so keep the camera on the panel as that is what you are trying to demonstrate. I taught instruments for years and would certainly provide guidance and explanation were I making a video like this. Best of luck, but this is a rather weak format!
ОтветитьRules must be very different in the UK? What if the controller said unable to provide an IFR clearance?
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьA pleasure to watch, well done!
ОтветитьOutstanding! And full on into those gauges. Great flying.
ОтветитьInstruments should be required for all pilots
ОтветитьCool video; thanks!
ОтветитьNother 'Plain Ol' Ben' watched from Fairbanks, Alaska, 6-14-21
ОтветитьNice and smooth flight controls! Well done!
ОтветитьWhy descend at cruise power?
ОтветитьTotally in control here. Good job
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьgreat approach, you look very professional
ОтветитьAny idea of the make/model of the light bar at the top of the panel. Haven’t seen that before.
ОтветитьDo you have to pay every time you get ATC service?
ОтветитьNicely done!
Ответитьit was a very good job Buddy ....Bravo
ОтветитьCorrect me if I’m wrong but did he request “traffic services” (I’m American so I haven’t heard that term) while he was in IMC?
ОтветитьGreat IFR circuit👍
ОтветитьVery nicely done.
ОтветитьI remember IFR in my 172 (G-BOIX) back in the day. Hard work to do it right. I'm VFR only these days with the occasional flirtation in marginal conditions to test my decision making skills. It was great to sit in the comfort of my office during this lockdown and relive the experience, thanks, James.
ОтветитьNice video! Always a good feeling when you break the cloud on approach after a long instrument trip.
ОтветитьI'm guessing the VFR only pilots in the UK don't get to fly very much...
ОтветитьIt gets harder when you can’t ’ see the runway at 300ft and the glide of your ils is malfunctioning..
ОтветитьReminds me when I was flying in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Did my IMC rating there. I would fly to Carlisle, Blackpool, Dundee.... Loved it.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьGreat job mate hope you fly for the airlines one day if that's your desire
ОтветитьWell done! That was fairly tricky at times
ОтветитьKILL the music, ahem...noise. But VERY impressive & proficient flying, well done!
ОтветитьVery well done.
ОтветитьI can actually understand the UK air traffic control. Not like here in the USA sounds like blah blah blah blah blah......
ОтветитьAnyone els excited for the new 2020 Flight Sim?
ОтветитьOutstanding...good video!
ОтветитьLiking that camera angle looking at instruments + front windscreen view. I might uhh... yeah, I might have to steal that.
ОтветитьWell done.
ОтветитьWell done.
ОтветитьSimply, NICE
Ответитьsmoooooth landing, congrats!
ОтветитьI hope the two of you form a band. You lads would look the dogs bollocks on stage.
ОтветитьVery good job!
