Worst 5 Cars To Start With Assetto Corsa Competizione

I used the most actual cars that people use for leagues and racing. What do you think of my list?

lexus is the easiest car for me

I use the Porsche and everytime it steps out at Pouhon regardless of what I do, been racing it for 2 months now and was thinking of switching cars but my heart loves Porsche buypt it's so annoying

Already knew porsche was gonna be near the top of the list. No matter the game that thing is NOTORIOUS for being hard to drive and liking to spin out.

As a beginner I would definitely not reccomend using the nsx either year, I think with a good setup it could be good, but as a beginner that’s a skill I lack.

A great car that I can reccomend as a beginner is the 296 GT3. It's super nimble, you can place it pretty much anywhere you want. Fun to drive and competitive imo.

Can confirm.. i started with the nsx in a race championship and the first race was kyalami. Never again.

Any racing game that doesn't have the ability to change driving views, isn't a real driving game. This game is a pile of garbage. No wonder it was free on the Playstation subscription subscription. Only a fool would pay money for such a game!

It is sad, that the Lexus was dropped so much by Kunos. It is by far the best GT3 in the world in a fair BoP... It still could beat a modern 992 GT3 and Huracan Evo 2 in real life. After all, it is the reference car in IMSA for BoP, because it is the most stable.
Imagine having a team like Manthey, WRT etc. running the RCF in IMSA, it would CRUSH GTD Pro aaaaaaaaaaaaand GTD

The 296 and the new porshe gt3 R are my two cars they are great

I dont think the porsche is too bad it just doesnt like stiff suspension

I find the NSX is incredibly well balanced. If anything, I find myself understeering more than other cars. It’s top speed on engine map 2 is noticeably slower than some cars on track.

I just started playing this game, with no extra packs and tested all 2018 cars on brands hatch as a starting track. I was also using the agressive setup with no changes.
Found that the lexus is really awesome to drive together with the ferrari 488. I was just 1sec faster than the lexus by only driving 3 laps (the first ever). The rest is either oversteering or understeering waaaay too much

So you are saying do not buy the latest 2023 DLC pack since the Porsche an Lambo are in there?!.. And also do not buy the 2020 DLC since the Mercedes is in there?!.. o.0.. Everyone does recommend those packs and cars, so I wonder if this review is universal or one mans opinion.. There should be personal preferences and all cars should be balanced pretty well, right?!..

Generally agree with your listing. I think I would move Lambo to 5th or not put on this list at all. I think good rookie cars should be ones that are generally are consistent and easy to drive handling wise. The Lambo maybe slow but a nice car to fiddle and get up to speed with if new to ACC.

Huracan might be slow, but I think it's a very easy to drive, which makes it easy to be consistent with it. Consistency is key in racing.

I started with the Porsche and for me it was a mixed experience. I just love how I can step on the pedal and that lets the car cut straight across all the kerbs in the game with an insane exit speed, it's hilarious. I also like tinkering with the car setup and the Porsche demands that, but just changing the dampening to limit the pitching of the car on breaking/throttle greatly improves stability. The fuel disbalancing the car is very real though, you'll feel like you don't even recognize the car anymore by the end of the race. Definitely had me bewildered when I realized what was going on and it costed me a lot of races.

The Lambo junior class was able to drive then picked McLaren omg all over the place so now restarted and looking best 🤣🤣🤣

Porche 911, you accellerate and it snap oversteer, you brake and it snap oversteer, you lift the throttle and it snap oversteer.
Oh you missed the breaking by few meters? Good luck holding the corner without oversteering and crashing into the wall

I started acc with the Lexus 10months ago and it was so interesting, because of her defaults, now im with the Audi and i think the lexus gave me the best way to learn how to drive a GT3 car.

Coming out of F1 and AC, I found the easiest car to be the Porsche 991 II GT3, and I crank out podium finishes atm (about 8 hours in). I really enjoy how it drives, especially how you have to manage with its weight and size. I really wanted to like the Beamer, but it feels too heavy. Its uncomfortable.

I drive the Honda on almost every track I race.. it’s pretty solid imo

For the AMG, the engine mapping, ABS, TC and BB are all you really need to chain on the fly to get an almost perfect control of the car.

if you want real simulator, go to Project Cars 2 or Driveclub VR, sure if you can find them. Gt7 and ACC looks toys compared to them. and do no ask creators to make perfectly drivable car for you with more updates, it does not look serious. physics is the main point in sims, not tyre temperature. my 2 cents.

Porsche is an amazing car to start out with imo. I started out with it and once I learnt it I could easily adapt to any other car. I feel like people who started out with easy cars, like the aston or bentley that were super easy back in the day, they would have bad habits trying to adapt to other cars

I've got an idea for a series, it's called 'Why Is Mike Swannick So Slow?' In it you analyse my crap driving and, over the course of the series, you turn me into an alien driver using your skill and knowledge, allowing people to see and address their own driving problems through the exposure of my own extensive list of poor driving habits. If it ever gets picked up by Hollywood to make into a blockbuster movie about overcoming adversity you could be played by Chris Hemsworth and Tom Cruise could play me. Just thought, let me know big guy.

Interesting view on the matter, just wondering though. The R8 is a challenging car to master; high risk, high reward car. On the other hand, I think the NSX isn’t all too bad to start out with! I found it quite learning because you could really feel what your setup changes do to a Gt3. Now I usually drive the AMG GT, because it’s a powerful, raw thing which is just forgiving enough when you mess up. Takes sérious tweaking of the setup to really make it as fast as is possible though.

The Porsche Fits my style perfect i love to drive it and the challange just pushing me more
