I find it hard not to roll my eyes at how Suzume is so in love with a guy she just met a few days earlier to the point that she is willing to sacrifice herself for him. Like, there's no way you can have a feeling THAT strong only in a matter of days. Years, probably, but days? Hell no. Makoto Shinkai could have just used the feeling of guilt for opening the keystone to justify her action, but love? Nope, it doesn't make sense.

But except that, everything about this movie is just so good.

What a legend main character, skipping school and leaving town to save the world.

Wish i could find some old ones like kaiketsu Zorro, The adventures of Nils holgersson, Sandy bell, etc. But as a list of new ones: mononoke hime, the garden of words, the flower we saw that day, a silet voice, your name, spirited away, ponyo, howels moving castle , my neighbour totoro, the boy and the beast, arrietty,porco rosso, penguin highway,mirai, the grave of fireflies ( sad, didn't had the stomach to see it myself, as well as " made in abyss" - this one is not recommended if you wanna be happy) , the wind rises, flavours of youth, from up on poppy hill, weathering with you, a wisker away, 5 centimetres per second( 3 separate short movies but very good),when Marnie was there, the place promised in our early days, redline, wolf hildren( quite sad), akira, maquia- when the promised flower blooms, suzume, ghost in the shell(1995- but you'll find more made after but the first was the best), the girl who leapt through time, a silent voice, nausica of the valley of the wind, castle in the sky, wisper of the heart, only yesterday, summer wars, i want to eat your pancreas( actually sad anime, not horror or anything, just weird name but you'll get it), jin roh- the wolf brigade( sad ending), pom poko, a letter to momo, children who chase lost voices, hotarubi no mori(sad anime- most are worth watching as subs , the original actors although a foreign language for non Japanese are the best, plus you may learn a few words in Japanese 😂),blood-c( vampire ), blood the last vampire( this is a good one, not that the rest are bad😂, but one of my favourite vampire animes), vampire hunter d , vampire hunter d- bloodlust, helsing ( of course), samurai champloo( this is as good as cowboy bebop, with episodes, one of my fav too) michiko and hatchin( very good dear to my heart , comes in episodes,a bit sad) kite,full metal alchemist ( and brotherhood are very good anime with episodes, basically the same anime and they are connected) violet evergarden, blame( sad , a bit like " made in abyss" only not that happiness deleting, seriously don't watch "made in abyss", no, no, no butt, just don't do it if you want to be happy ever again,) ninja scroll, cowboy bebop- the movie( there's a few episodes as well, all just as good) sword of the stranger, Berserk ( there's a few ,i think originally 2 seasons but they made a new and fuking weird season which doesn't have a finish cuz ...not sure if it's cuz the studio burned or ...i forgot, anyway it's incredible then last season is mehh and not finished) trigun( if you haven't seen this one you lived under a rock, episodes plus movie) wolf's rain( sad but one of my favourites too) afrosamurai( yeah that's correct 🤣funny but amazing movie with Samuel L Jackson, yeah it's badass). And I'm gonna end the list. There's a whole bunch more but i can't remember everything,but I'll leave you with one to shet yourself laughing: GOLDEN BOY KINTARO OE( for the boys😎)One day in the next life I'll manage to download all of them so i can watch them when i want even if there's no internet in hell. Anyway...love and peace- licks toilet seat 🤣🤣 ( I told you you'll shet yourself laughing, go watch it)

First of all I watch the movie I'm feeling sorry for the cat spirit cause it looks so malnourished and so sad. Seconds the love interest it's supposed to be a graduate university student that was mushed into her chair. They could have made her older so the relationship doesn't look creepy and pedo.They could have made her older maybe 20 at least, what do Japanese animation have against adult women 😢
like she's crushing over howl lookalike understand but she's like 14...and his in his mid-20s 😅😅😅😅

Masterpiece

I absolutely loved this. Really worth watching. Fantastic and fun adventure.
The only thing I didn’t like was the little time paradox thing that happened at the end, where she met her younger self on the other side of the door. I flashback and coming to terms with her mother’s death wouldn’t been better than throwing in some kind of time-loop.

It giving me studio Ghibli vibes
