On Our real life VAN LIFE ADVENTURES we start to TRAVEL ACROSS AUSTRALIA with OVER 4000kms to go whilst CARAVANNING AUSTRALIA. We are starting this massive ROAD TRIP from Broome to Brisbane travelling through 3 time zones and 3 states (Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland), during this episode (as part of our travel Australia series) we leave Broome and start heading towards the Fitzroy Crossing, showing the devastation that was caused from cyclone Ellie. The Fitzroy Bridge was completely destroyed by flooding caused by the cyclone. MYSTERY CAMP REVEALED for FREE CAMPING offgrid that’s so hard to miss, you have to keep an eye out for the track. When you find it, it leads to a perfect, quiet camp area around a lagoon on Ellendale Station.

Whilst camping offgrid we use our camp oven on the hot coals of the fire and can’t believe this camping area is FREE. We continue along the Northern Highway, stopping at free rest areas as we go….. We are travelling in our 79 Series Landcruiser, towing a Jayco Journey Outback caravan.
