What Happened To ARK 2?

Ark 2 is promising and might be a bit refreshing from the regular ark i just hope we dont have to wait until 2030 or something like that cause that would not be fun it is a shame that we apparently wont have first person just because first person just feels right for a survival game.

They really need to focus on Ark Mobile this year, then 2025-26 they should get Ark 2 out.

By the looks of it honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Ark 2 had God Of War type movement and combat, I'd still enjoy it.

ark ascended is ark 2. they both run on the same engine and they needed a beta test to a ue5 ark and so far its been awful. the story of ark 2 will most likely be a paid dlc expansion for ark ascended. ark 2 was supposed to release 2021 then 2022 then 2023 and now unsure as the devs said they are gonna put all their focus on ark ascended so dont expect any ark 2 news until after all ark ase maps are on asa, so after 2026. meaning ark 2 or whatever it is in 2028-2030

Either they shifted the way the game is being developed in a direction that severely delayed its development, or they pulled a cyberpunk and hyped up the community way too early. The fact it's radio silence means it will likely take forever for any meaningful news to come out. Id have to look at what else snail games is developing while Ark 2 is being worked on to determine if they're just working on a skeleton crew while the rest of the staff is ripped away to other peojects

What happened? They released it! Ark Ascended! There never was an ark 2 being made! Just 2.0 which after it was released seeing the disappointment of the ark community not getting an ark 2 they claimed ark 2 was set back! Vin diesel being shown as santiago for ark 2! Is just ark 1 santiago died in the first game so its not a new game they where working on it was just ark 1 reinvented! Also the devs have been corrupted by the mobile game development! Now disgusting ingame purchases associated with mobiles games are added to Ascended like premium creatures etc…

I'm sorry, I know there won't be a lot of people who feel the same but I just know if they actually do make Ark 2 it's going to be complete fucking trash. Ark despite all of its issues set aside, the core fundamentals of Ark is master class, and I hate that it's focusing on "Story driven" bs when Ark gave you no information other than you happen to stumble across notes here and there which made you want to explore more and figure the story out yourself. Also, Its so gimmicky to have Vin Diesel as santiago, honestly, it really turned me off from the whole thing completely. Wildcard is a garbage company that was bought out by an even more garbage company. It's time to move on and stop buying products from them since they can't deliver on anything they say.

Ark 2 is the same as ark1 I am highly disappointed but not really because there is other things I could play
