Not cringey at all, nope, not one ounce.

Although this looks beautifully shot and acted, it’s a shame that this couldn’t have Beauty narrating or leading the story in any way (a main reason why the book is so powerful). Changes have been made in the storyline that didn’t need to be, especially the ‘captured’ concept, which is too cliche. Though many may enjoy it, I don’t think this will be as enjoyable for fans of the book.

Ah yes of course the generic horse movie plot. I swear they aren't even trying anymore. The actual plot of black beauty would have been a much better tribute the animals that have helped humanity grow so much and who have been treat so poorly in response. 😤
but no, sad girl bonds with grumpy horse, boy impressed, horse threatened to be removed unless the big equestrian competition is won that will magically fix everything whoopee 🥱

WATCH THE 1993 VERSION INSTEAD! It’s faithful to the book (as far as I know) and not some cheesy garbage cash grab attempt thats capitalizing on the name of a truly beautiful story.

Idk why people are just judging over the trailer. I loved Black Beauty as a book. I watched the 1994 film too. It was a different setting with some differences but this version also showed animal cruelty and how there a humans who treat animals like they should and those who treat animals as just a thing to be used. It was a nice movie.
