Is Sony BRAVIA Theater Bar 9 an UPGRADE to HT-A7000? (In HDR)

I have the x95l but I have a Sonos Arc. Do you think I missed a trick not buying a Sony soundbar to utlisie the TV speakers? I thought it was a bit gimmicky but not sure anymore.

Great review and comparison Steve 👍! I find the Sony HT-A7000 a bit more hands-on and fuller sounding compared to the more app oriented Bar 9, so all in all the HT-A7000 is more of a bargin imo.

Bravia core? I thought it was acoustic center sync?

I’m thinking about upgrading to the theater bar nine. Thanks for doing the review. But the theater bar nine actually has the real side firing speakers versus the a7000 has side firing beam tweeters. So I’m just a little confused. Maybe I’m wrong. I don’t know.

Soundbar 9 with the SW3 sub and my BRAVIA 7 85”….the most insane tv room ever Its beyond life changing
Soundbar is great but needs the sub to really shine And skip the S CENTER no good imo

Great video!!! Only 2 HDMI inputs on the rear. I would plug my PS5 into the 2nd one. So would an Apple TV and another gaming system plug into the TV directly?

Apps arent forever they get delisted from app stores then youre screwed. I prefer the built in UI on the HTA7000

I've gotten so many compliments on the sound experience with the HT-A7000 connected with rear speakers and subwoofer. I enjoy seeing what's new on the market but I am very happy with my current sound bar.
