ОтветитьI started rucking because I wanted to find something I could do that would push me, that I could LOVE to do, and something that would help me lose weight. I do a 20# weighted vest and walk 3 miles 1-2 times a day. 38lbs down, more to go of course but rucking is so fun and it makes me SWEAT so much I actually FEEL like I'm doing something healthy and good for myself!
Tom: I doubt you will reply but what fitness watch do you have that counts your increase in caloric burn when rucking? Is it keeping track of your heart beat and then you just figure it out on your own? If so; how do WE figure it out?!
Shout out to Mom’s who ruck kids around all day… must be a dulling of nerve endings or some adaptation that allows them to lock the arm somehow where they can hold those heavy kids all day… impressive.
ОтветитьGet a vest that allows you to add a pound of weight at a time as you get stronger/fitter. You should slowly adjust your loads upward to challenge yourself as you improve (to a point that doesn’t overload your joints/tendons and keeps your form so you remain injury free.
ОтветитьI do a lot of traveling, and I use a backpack instead of suitcase. And because I use mostly walking and public transportation to get around, I put in a lot of miles. And the backpack makes a big difference. Thomas is absolutely right.

ОтветитьI am 5'6" ~150lbs and lately I have been regularly doing long walks and some calisthenics with a 40 lb weighted vest. Today for example I did a 2.89 mile walk during my lunch hour and another 1.8 mile walk after work. I also did some pull ups, incline push ups, and decline ring rows with the weighted vest today as well as lunges, squats, and calf raises. It was super hard at first because I went straight to 40lbs and did crazy long walks to where my shoulders, spine, and legs got super sore. I could not even do one pull up with the vest on back then months ago but now I can do 5 pull ups on the rings with the vest on if I am fully rested. I can see and feel my shoulders getting bigger and stronger from bearing all this weight regularly. I am surprised Thomas only uses 20lbs that seems light to me but I am a little crazy I guess lol.
Ответитьi use my lind 3 legged dead donkey i cant afford a vest so i just strap the donkey around my waist and just walk it feels great u actually feel like a dead donkey afterwards

ОтветитьI alt weights either wrist, ankle or vest. Since I walk to work three times a week it’s great I can burn more doing my normal activities.

Ответитьor...put a good pack on, I use an Exo, put two 50# bags of elk meat in it and carry it back to your vehicle, Repeat as needed until done. Great fun.

ОтветитьYour face looks sick. Tweaker cheeks, wrinkles etc. You look like your 60 years old face with a 30 year old shredded body. Maybe genetics and staying out of the sun UV are key to staying young and healthy.

I think someone with a BMI of 30+ already is carrying a lot of extra weight. Why the need for a weight vest? Or is this advice just for people who are not overweight?

ОтветитьI walk 7 days a week, twice a day about a mile each walk. After doing this routine for 1 month I lost 15lbs. Main reason was high blood pressure plus to stay in great shape! 💪mrwtby
