Please teach the importance of not putting dialogue, sfx, music, etc on the same tracks. Audio tracks should be dedicated to their categories. ie Dialogue will only go on tracks A1-A4, sfx will be dedicated to A5-A8, music A9-A10, etc. This makes things easier down the line, especially when it comes to kicking out audio stems.

Jiggy, what about VFR footage? Let's say I edit for a twitch streamer and I download his 10 hour VOD that's VFR. When I finally fossilize, the proxy is done, however, by the end of the VOD, when I toggle the proxy on or off, there is a pretty significant desync because the proxy is CFR. That wouldn't be a big issue unless you want to jumpcut, which is what I want to do. Generally it also pisses me off because I want my cuts to be frame perfect and I can't stand exporting an edit where all your cuts are shifted by more and more frames as the timeline gets rendered. A fix for this would be transcoding the whole thing into CFR before making proxies but I don't know if that will noticeably lose quality
