I've worked retail for over half of my life (maybe that's why I hate people... ANYWAYS...). This BS is more common than you think. Said Redditor was right. These people are trying to get cash. Even if they paid with a debit card. Most normal people would think "why not just hit an ATM?". I'll tell you why; ATMs don't dispense specific amounts, usually just 20, and maybe 10 dollar bills. Also, ATMs charge usage fees that Karens and Kevins alike try to avoid. They are being cheap, and like most customers who get refused ANYTHING, they resort to anger. HAPPENS ALL THE TIME
