It's so weird he seemed so happy to propose that shows that he wanted it to work he realized he didn't want to loose her. BUT Kayla didn't want it she even said she would feel bad to have said no to the ring. She told him let's put everything in the past and move on blah blah but then the abortion was messing with her mental health, while they just got engaged their supposed to be happy fresh start but then she started suffering from anxiety & depression & him he didn't have to go through with the abortion so of course he's not going to have the same hurt in his heart like she does, and she kinda resents that but at the same time she couldn't say 1000% that that baby was his because he even said they weren't intimate around the time she got pregnant then she slept with her ex so that's probably why Luke didn't feel heartbroken like she did. Now their both basically over each other the "break" wasn't going to do anything & she knew that.
