ОтветитьAfter looking at videos for weeks!! This video was by far the most helpful! I finally have some clarity, thank you so much for your advice & insight!
Ответитьthanks for the video! this is my first video of yours Ive watched, haha Im guessing you paint as well?
Ответитьi got my first camera when i was born its been working fine but i did have to get some lens updates.
ОтветитьI’m a beginner about to start photography as a hobby , which camera should I get ?
ОтветитьThis is what I was looking for.
ОтветитьThis was indeed very helpful!
ОтветитьThis has been very helpful for me, thank you. :)
ОтветитьHie Allison I conditioned
camera for video production
I am looking to upgrade from my canon 350d as it’s from 2005, I got given it in 2013 from my aunty, it’s been great but I need a updated camera, I need it to be able to film aswell and have no idea what to upgrade to with in canon without being majorly expensive x
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thanks so much.
ОтветитьIf you can't create with a kit lens, then odds are you can't create with a more expensive lens either.
ОтветитьI've bought my first DSLR Canon 5D mark ii used. I upgraded to a Canon 5D mark iii (that I also bought used). I recently bought a Canon Rebel T7 used from a pawnshop. Both the two lenses I use I bought used. I have never had a problem with used camera or used lenses. I've bought from various retailers online for my used gear in my kit. Both my Canon 5D mark ii and iii I bought used from a friend that works as a cameraman operator.
ОтветитьIf i wanted good night shots? Like a lit up street, i should figure out which lense i need?
ОтветитьBless your soul, this helped !
ОтветитьThis was fantastic info given in a simple, easy to understand format. I’m as beginner as it gets looking to from taking bird pics with my phone to buying my first camera & lens. Thanks so much, you did a great job.

Ive wanted to make a similar video to this and as a absolute camera geek hoarder, you have nailed this video down to a tee. I rarely stick to a brand or system but im in the minority, defo invest in a system in regards to the lenses not always the body. They always get better lenses stay lenses!
ОтветитьAs far as my opinion of kit lenses, a 18-55mm kit lens is very limiting. But a 18-135mm kit lens is awesome.
Ответитьyour face seemed trustworthy so here I am, teach me the way of the camera
ОтветитьI know almost nothing about cameras and now I know that I know nothing about lenses.
ОтветитьI've been collecting camera gear since 2010. I now have 3 dslr's and 2 mirrorless. My second mirrorless is a $1700 camera that I got used for $850 and works just as good as new. Mostly take pics for reference material to draw and paint but want the best quality for fine details. I always go for the quality glass and have never regretted it. I've even taken over 30,000 pics through the windshield of the truck I drive. Mostly aim and click and hope for the best. Get a bunch of blurry, crooked and pics focused on bug splatters, but most come out great. Use those for watercolors.
ОтветитьThankkkkkk you! This is so so so helpful! I've watched a handful of videos, almost bought a camera last night but fell asleep and decided to watch one more video before buying. Now I'm totally changing my game plan.
Thank you!!!!
Thank you ❤️
ОтветитьWow great video!
ОтветитьI'm a beginner of photography. When we buy a new camera did what are the main features needs to be consider?
ОтветитьThis was a great content, I appreciate the knowledge shared , I'm new to photography and saving for my first camera
ОтветитьVery intelligent advice 👌 thank you
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьPlease recommend 5 cameras for beginner under 500£$ preferably for low light photography.Never had a camera before.Your thoughts on Canon 250D
ОтветитьI just learned about adapters, thanks!
ОтветитьAs a starting point for beginners the kit lens is perfect. And if you're a bit advanced and work carefully, it will always allow prints up to 20x30cm in really good quality. OK, there's one downside: If you want/need a narrow depth of field, go for a faster lens.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. We want to buy our teenage son his first camera and budget is tight. You have definitely started us on to the right track. Thank you also for the Skillshare free trial. The "Fundamentals of DSLR Photography" by Justin Bridges is a really great starting point.
ОтветитьHaha I made it so far on the kit lens
ОтветитьUsed eh? Hmmmmm...
I'm interested in the Canon M50, need a lens for desk recording and recording products for reviews, I would think a kit lens would do the job?
You don’t know how much you’ve helped me today. Thanks!!!!
ОтветитьI agree got one wish I had not
ОтветитьThis was helpful ma’am 🙌
ОтветитьThanks for the video
The most important point i get is to invest money for the fancy lens over the camera, it help me a lot since i struggled to invest my money for a better camera.
Now I will prioritize buying a lens that is slightly more expensive than the camera
This was the wisest advice I received on the subject after going through maybe 25 videos. And it's shorted than most at 8mins. Well done, Allison!!
ОтветитьHow do you know which lens to use if you don't necessarily know what type of photographer you want to be? (just starting out)
Ответить🙂
ОтветитьI’m really passionate about photography but I don’t have the financial strength to buy a camera. Please help me out folks, even if it is used🥺🙏🏻
ОтветитьThanks 👍
ОтветитьThanks that was helpful for a beginner like me❤️
