Far Cry 3, 4, and 6 made the villians somewhat likeable but 5 ... few men I hated more. Turned me off the game.

I was so bad that my plane got taken down (I think a bunch of people shot it while I was taking off), so I had to run around and find a machine gun on the ground to take down his plane, which took like, 20 minutes bc of how little damage it does.

no shade but i got through john's whole ass region and the first time was to confront him for the boss fight. No outpost retake=no plane that needs to be shot down with the machine gun

I'm actually surprised you didn't use the shovel launcher weapon in this game it would still be using a shovel you just be able to throw it harder than with your own hands

I am writing this comment before I watch the video, and I will say that I will literally go out and touch grass, a thing i didn't do in ages, if you manage to beat it. Those armoured guys at John's bunker are very annoying and well armoured so much that only an incendiary shotgun ammo can kill them.

There's a modified rocket launcher called the shovel launcher. You could have used that to put helicopters down. Challenge failed.
