Since its inception on October 31st, 2022, our Global Compounders Portfolio (GCP) has been a beacon of outstanding performance. With a remarkable total return CAGR (annualized) of 29.0% as of April 30th, 2024, net of fees and expenses, it has surpassed the benchmark S&P 500 index's 19.9% CAGR (annualized) returns during the same period. What's truly remarkable is that this exceptional performance has been achieved while maintaining minimal exposure to the "Magnificent Seven" stocks, which typically dominate the gains of the S&P 500. This is a testament to our stock selection and portfolio construction approach (Torque). ‘Torque’ based positioning has played an important role, adding low-single digit outperformance relative to the S&P 500. However, the heart of our success lies in our rigorous stock selection process. On average, GCP Companies have been compounding their intrinsic value at twice the rate of the average S&P 500 companies since our inception. This, we believe, underscores the robustness of our approach and the sustainability of our outperformance.

In this webinar, we discuss:
a. Key reasons behind resilience of GCP portfolio and how the kind of companies we invest in allow for lower portfolio volatility vis-a vis S&P500 index – causing alpha to compound over long holding periods.
b. Why headline GDP growth figures are a mere illusion for an investor and how our clients can break away from it and benefit from capital allocation in two of the most dynamic economies in the world today – US and India
c. Portfolio performance update and changes in the portfolio
