btw russia wasnt the only victor of ww2. at that time it was USSR, which consisted of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Caucasus, etc. there were Georgian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, and Kazakh troops fighting alongside Russian troops in Berlin; they contributed to the final victory as well. Their contribution to the war effort deserved to be remembered, recognized.

You ask why the German loses were here so high? The allies fought against the Volkssturm that was a army of teen and old WW1 Veterans. They got poor equipment and had almost no training so they were no enemy against well trained troops even against the Sovjets who were less trained and equipt then the Americans. It was like bringing a knife to a gun fight but it was the last resort the Propaganda could do because the Wehrmacht was almost none existent at this time. They should have capitulated earlier this was unnecessary loses of young boys and grandfathers…
