There’s several brands and types of contact cement glue. Exactly what brand and type you are using? I know it has to withstand the hot temperatures the interior of a car can get without releasing.

Nice work! I have a question. I used a heat gun to do my "unfinished" door panels on my 69 Nova. Do you ever use a heat gun while laying the leather, vinyl or fabric down? BTW, the blue color you're using is exactly the color of some of my interior. I saw this video and now I'm going to do my windshield A pillars this color and this way. A pillars for my car are like dinosaurs. No more. Mine are 90% good but have cracked molding. Only option I knew of to restore them was a shop in Los Angeles at $400. Or use bondo.

Un lavoro artigianale ma di grande maestria, bravo per questo tipo di lavoro ci vuole una pazienza e dedizione non indifferenti, e non di meno conoscenza del materiale adoperato, data la colla, basta un gesto inappropriato che il lavoro è da buttare, complimenti. Ho una Mercedes SLK 200 R170 e mi immagino il tunnel centrale rivestito in questa maniera, ho manualità ma peccato, non dici che tipo di colla hai usato e che tipo di pelle, spessore ecc... per il fai da te ci sono pochi indizi.
