I pick my clothes the night before…
ОтветитьThanks from Wales 🏴
ОтветитьPlease please keep making fashion videos !!
ОтветитьThis so helpful! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьThe first time this video didn't resonated with me at all. But reorganizing my wardrobe and following your guide lines on bichromatic dressing has helped me form a new connection to the way I dress.
I don't want to rush things so first I will get more comfortable with my clothes before I ad another principle.
But thinking about it I may follow the first steps already. I always consider practicality and I don't own a lot of different shoes or outerwear.
The "how do I want to feel today" I often know. Today I wanted to feel cosy and put together. So I styled an oversized button down made of the most comfortable cotton linen blend with a black skirt.
I love your hair especially the style and volume. Is it natural or styled? 😊
ОтветитьI think I need to figure out what looks good on me before I can do this. I love these steps. But after the practical step the "how do I want to feel" part is not gonna happen. I dont have stuff that makes me feel how I want to feel. Im trying to figure out my kibbe body type, color season, essence, hair styles. Its not going very well lol. Im most likely a soft summer except only a few of even those colors look good on me. And Im most likely a theatrical romantic kibbe body type cause Im very slender but very curvy and fleshy thighs and arms but very petite. I only look good in a bathing suit and pretty much all clothes look bad on me. I feel like a weird little dude with big hips. No hair looks good on me either. I just end up trying to wear bright colors so my kids dont think I look depressing lol. But I look like poops.
ОтветитьIm confused about the balance part because I thought your description was talking about the balance between shapes of garment (flowy top with tight pants, tight shirt with flowy pants) but then your example with your outfits were both flowy shirts paired with flowy bottoms. So did you mean balance in vibes or something?
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this video! ❤
ОтветитьI can't stop looking at you hair!!! It look amazing on you c:
ОтветитьThank you for branching out into clothes and fashion, it's why I subscribed!
ОтветитьIt think it is so eye-opening mind-blowing to ask myself “how do I want to feel?” Instead of “how do I want to look?”
ОтветитьI am a person out there who appreciates this video. Interesting way of looking at getting dressed.
ОтветитьWow! I am coming late to this video! But just Wow! a loved this! So much to think about ! Thank you!
ОтветитьI’m tempted to hire a film costumer to advise me about what clothing to buy and how to make outfits from the separates I have found
ОтветитьReally love this approach and just watched this again for a refresher 💕 really helpful especially now because pregnancy has thrown a wrench into my typical routine of dressing 😅 anyway, I think it would be cool if you did another video following the same routine with some different scenarios/examples, especially now that you have a child and maybe some accompanying different practical considerations. 💕
ОтветитьThis video might have just changed my life. The part about being simultaneously under inspired and overwhelmed really resonated with me. I never thought to ask myself how I want to feel today. Or to choose a “star” based on the feeling I’m going for. I find myself reaching for the same pieces in the same combinations all the time. Literally going to try this approach starting today.
ОтветитьI only have one pair of shoes so thats easy but thanks for the overall vid!
ОтветитьHelpful content for people at any age!
ОтветитьI really loved and appreciated this video. I was so confused on why that white shirt didn’t need to be steamed or ironed, but it looked nice on you. I look forward to more fashion videos from you. ❤
ОтветитьWow, excited to try this out and get out of my Mom rut. :)
ОтветитьYou brought something very different, an intelligence, a depth on this topic and the topic like how to feel elegant , this is where your strength is. Hope you do more of these videos on personal inquiry on topic of how to be best version of yourself.
ОтветитьGreat when a thought process is so clear
You are very good in simplifying the what and why
All your ideas should be patented, copyrighting them in a book. ☺
ОтветитьI love your analytical approach to dressing and style.
ОтветитьThank you! You’re amazing and an inspiration!
ОтветитьI think your philosophy is spot on. And I also loved your video about Elegance. I would just say that I think when you’re talking about balance, it’s nice to have a slimmer fit going with something floaty. The black top over the white skirt was a little shapeless and perhaps would have looked good with a belt? Just a thought - you look great whatever.
ОтветитьI love how intuitive this approach is. What a beautiful way to start the day! I live with chronic illness, and it can be really easy to avoid getting dressed at all. Often I find myself wearing my pajama bottoms with some sort of top.
But I have so many beautiful clothes just hanging in my closet, waiting to be worn…I can’t even begin to declutter my closet because I no longer even know what I want to wear.
I haven’t come across ANYTHING that has been as helpful as this video. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I actually feel inspired and motivated to dress myself tomorrow, focusing on how I feel in my clothes. And I know this method will eventually help me reestablish my own style and curate my closet over time. Thank you. ❤
Glad to always see you
ОтветитьSecond video of Hannah's I watched. Subscribed.
Been buying and overbuying clothes for years. Hannah's lessons are showing me what I didn't understand about dressing well.
useful information!
ОтветитьYour voice quality is just like the voice of Ms.Dakota Johnson, soothing to the ears
ОтветитьI love how thoughtful and articulate your videos are. It brings a whole new level to what fashion means one's physical and psychological state. Not kidding but you should write a book about your fashion philosophy. Or have a course for young (and old - I'm 70). Wish i had this information when I was a teen.
ОтветитьThanks for these tips! Thinking about my wardrobe in terms of how im going to get ready in the morning will help me when i go shopping. I always get so overwhelmed because there are iust so many options. But if i focus more on what kind of way i like to feel in my clothes, then i have a direction.
Ответитьshe has a fringe + wolf ? how is she pulling it off ?
ОтветитьThis video made me subscribe to you!
ОтветитьYou know what I like about this? Asking yourself how you want to feel frequently will inform your shopping decisions too. I often want to feel badass, but as I thought about it watching this, I only have a few things that truly bring me that feeling, so I wear them a lot. To avoid outfit repeating I could go shopping with “badass” in mind and see what I can find :) thanks for the inspo!
ОтветитьI JUST found your channel today and this video has helped me more than words can say. I am about to de-clutter clothes and these questions and ways to think about clothes will really help me weed through and pick what I will REALLY use and actually wear. Subscribed and liked!
ОтветитьYour new hair is incredible
ОтветитьGirl this hairstyle is so funky fresh and sexy on you 😍😍
Love it 😊
Hannah I LOVE your fashion/clothing videos. I've found a few other accounts who also talk about getting dressed and I agree it's SO important! Thanks for making this. Your fashion feels so relatable because it's not at all what I might wear but it doesn't look like anyone else (and that's how I want mine to feel for me!)
ОтветитьDamn, this is great! I’ve been suggested a few of your videos now .. love them all!! Subscribed!!❤❤❤All the best to you!
ОтветитьDo you need comfortable shoes? Yeah! Of course we do! Always wear comfortable shoes.
ОтветитьIs it just me...or does she just have a really fancy elegant sounding voice?
ОтветитьI would truly love to watch you apply this philosophy to more scenarios! Seeing you think through and talk through the fake dinner scenario at the end was amazing and it helped me really see how to put this into action! I love your content and have learned so much, thanks Hannah <3 PS this is the first youtbube comment I have ever written but I just really did love this.
ОтветитьLove your videos!
ОтветитьI always start with the shoes by considering: Where am I going/doing? How much walking/standing will I be doing? What's the weather like? Then build my outfit from the ground up.
Ответитьdude. why is this so genius. it works perfectly.
