Here's my logic Nobody in real world shoot 1000 yards away nobody, hunting 1000 yards away either.. they're really not that many shooting range out there with a such a distance too... decent scope up to $500 and this $20 rings will serve 90% of shooters out there. Now if you rurning a competition and you want to shoot 1000 and more yards away.... then none of that will work. U need steel picatinny rail and steel rings.. and obviously a little bit better scope.

What are the recommended torque settings of UTG scope rings?

After you use the 2 levers to snap on the scope to the rail, take the Allen wrench and further tighten them down.

For a beginner who does not need premium scope mounts, this would be great. Thanks for testing them out.

When putting scope on, before you flip the levers use your supplied Allen wrench to tighten up then flip levers. No wobble!

UTG doesn’t just make airsoft/ paintball equipment.

That was not a powder charge they threw the round high, lol. Put it on a bench and shoot, I guarantee it’s the shooter.

Those rings suck! Period!

After you flip the lock down levers, you can further tighten using an Allen wrench.

What kind of flip caps are those?

i consider to buy low profile with 4 screws quick detach utg for my m18 and mount it on my custom mosin but i wonder did they risit recoil and hold properly my scope? any advise?

I have a cheap set of qd rings. I used one of them on my .223 to hold a laser. after a few shots the lever would come loose and laser would fall off ! I'm hesitant to try anymore unless they have a push button lockin lever ,but, they cost much more . I'm thinking about doing the utg qd on my .243, so ,do you trust these not to come loose with recoil ? thanks

In order to eliminate ANY AND ALL play in the rings what I do is put the front ring all the way forward in the slot and the rear ring all the way back.

That right there is a textbook "sniper rifle" lol. Actually more so a DMR being a semiautomatic.

So basically when I'm shooting a little ooffI should take the scope off, shake it, re attach it, and I should be getting tighter groupings,.. Thank you for this magical video..

I know this is old but I love leapers products. best bang for the buck in my opinion. the scopes hold up to magnum springers so that alone makes me trust them for powder burners and springers

Good video, but when you took the scope off you should of sat it down on the ground, picked it up and put it in you backpack and jogged for 10 seconds and than put backpack down and put scope back on. Your shake it up a bit was not what occurs when people take their scopes off. BTW nice shooting!

I use the rings with the qd knob on my .270 howa 22" that I put together, along with a Primary Arms 4-14x44 ffp scope.

They have actually held up well. I will be transferring them over to my aero 308 build soon to see how that holds.

Are you still using these? If so, how are they holding up to years of service?
