Wait, Minecraft Bedrock Edition Is Now BETTER Then JAVA???

Bedrock is better for casual gaming and especially if you want to play with controller.
Java is of course better for modding, but it runs like crap, even worse now than when it was released even on good hardware.
So, overall, if you just want to play vanilla minecraft, bedrock is definitely better.

Mods can be laggy also I've had more crashes with mods DLCs in Bedrock. Anything by changing colors on movable Parts on the avatars so yeah. I've been playing with mods for a couple years now so I don't know what when I'm talking about

so basically its all about the performance. keep in mind though that every year we can play "better "in java. i started playing on my laptop with intel integrated graphics 2 years ago, now i play on MSI rtx 3070.....still FREE....now, i wont be moving any time soon

This is just a guess. I think one day jave might gone forever because recently bedrock players are getting java features like spectator mode , banner on sheild, now can sneak through 1.5 block tall , etc and soon every iteams will can be use with offhand because of the new controls on mobile separating right click and left click not like the old controll combining two of them and fixing alot of bugss too.Also microsoft haven't add that much bedrock features to Java . I think microsoft planning to take down Minecraft Java.

Minecraft is like a language. You have the original (Java), and it's good dialects (legacy console/old pocket edition). And then, you have the worst dialect. Bedrock. A broken dialect with incoherent words and vocabulary that makes it not deserving of the title of it's original brethren. One that is associated with inferior people of low class and to stay away from.

Performance wise, Bedrock is superior... the problem is it also has a ton of really janky bugs that Java doesn't have. Plus, its redstone mechanics are inferior in every aspect aside from the pushable tile entities.

the reason I've been hating bedrock compared to java has been due to in part the stuttering, huge frame drops, and the inventory bug that is still in the fucking game, also all of these bugs happen frequently for no reason, I've tried everything to fix this issue but to this day it still persists, also the laggy menu when you use your thumbstick instead of the d pad is mind numbingly annoying, cause when I go to select an item in my inventory it'll all of a sudden get spazdicated and go right back to where it started on the screen over, and over and over again, this is the main reason I usually play the legacy/console version and the java edition over the bedrock version, its also why I got rid of the game on my Switch, it is just so unplayable on that damn console

Honestly the thing that makes bedrock better than java for me is the controls. I started playing java minecraft recently and to me, keyboard and mouse controls are actually pretty cumbersome. Playing bedrock with a controller is so much better for me

We need bedrock edition on Linux and MacOS, officially by Mojang.

Java is the op edition but bedrock runs smoother and unfortunately has a better ui. I can see why people play it so much

One thing to remember about the bedrock marketplace though is that even though it means you have to buy things that java gets for free, you can still get things free from third party websites just like how it works on java. In fact, mojang supports third party mods on bedrock even MORE as bedrock has a whole 'addon' system that makes modding easier

Bedrocks preformance is quite stunning actually.

Java has lagged a few times on my pc and overall just sucked.

Bedrock, while acting like I had a terrible connection to a server despite playing single player... actually was much smoother to the point where I never needed to change the render distance above 48 chunks... the chunks did load absurdly slow though...

So first of all, mods, yes ik you can download them online with no minecoins, and yes I know they are easy to run and play with them, but they are way worse than java mods, for java there is an entire expirienced mod community. Second, performance if you just download some performance mods, you can pretty much play on anything. Like I have a 10 year old laptop, 1.5 inches thick and it's very much playable, in about 70-80 fps. And don't you dare say "Oh but you have to download mods to do that, we don't", you bedrock players use the argument that you can get java features with addons all the time. Also, bedrock does have more features, but mostly useless ones, like yes fallen trees or snowier snow are cool things, but they almost never interfere with the game. It's just a nice little addition, not really usefull, while java has more usefull features, for example the f3 menu, it's super usefull, and it's only ground breakingly changing and almost cheating if you know how to use it right, which is hard, leaving only the main features that aren't in bedrock. And then bridging, it's not better, unlike java it dosen't require skill to be fast at it, which is worse! And also pvp. Bedrock players say it's better than java since it didn't switch to 1.9 pvp, and that everyone hates the 1.9+pvp. Wrong! People used to hate it because they didn't like change, but now a lot of people like it, it's really diverse and requires more skill and strategy rather than click click 10 times a second. And 1.8 pvp is good, but bedrock did a bad job at recreating it too, so it's not even like 1.8 pvp. And you guys say that there are bedrock addons for hardcore, and yes, I've seen them myself, but I've also seen a lot of people complaining how they die all the time for no reason and loose everything. Bedrock is also more buggy and glitchy, and if java does have more bugs it's mostly harmless ones or even ones that improve the game, while bedrock goes "yeah, you will die for no reason", and ig it's easy to play with friends on bedrock but It's not that hard on java either, just use aternos, or there is a mod that replicates bedrock and allows friends to join your world. Pretty much every feature that bedrock has, there is a mod out there that replicates it.

Console and pc just use to different controls to make them merge. And you could limit java players movement but there will be loop holes
