Did you know that benign heart palpitations were a normal symptom of perimenopause and what did you do to help? TELL ME BELOW!
ОтветитьI never had a heart palpitations until I was 36, I’ve been getting them monthly for a number of days for the almost last 2 years! I’ve had all the checks and been told it’s a benign palpitation! I keep saying it’s likely hormones but the doctors don’t seem think much of it.
ОтветитьI'm rather frustrated right now. Many years ago this started for me. May have been about 36 or so....?? No one mentioned menopause symptoms ever. The arrhythmia did however become noticeable then when I had my gallbladder taken out. I am taking metoprolol tartrate 25 mg 2 times per day. So I am wondering if i should really look into this and go off the metoprolol and try the prenatal vitamins/ etc. I have recently started a supplement for menopause, but it is more difficult for me to figure out due to the arrhythmia. I'd love it if you could respond to this with any suggestions/ideas for me.
ОтветитьYes very helpful. But does this palpitations cause pain at the chest region
ОтветитьHeart attacks run on both sides of my family. When I first started having these palpitations, it scared me. To death. 😂 Again, very sad how America doesn't acknowledge the importance of being taught about menopause. Women and men should know and be educated.
ОтветитьThank you so much
ОтветитьThank you. I lifted up 2x 2L milk & I got light headed & palpitations. Or moving too fast in the kitchen.
ОтветитьI went to the hospital 2 days ago for fast heart rate and feeling faint. Everything checked out ok. I quit alcohol and cigarettes a while ago now I have to quit coffee. The doctor wanted to give me lopresser i said No. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьI have PVC and PACs. Is that what you mean by heart palps? It started with perimenopause. Also I started getting panic attacks and anxiety.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!!! I've had two trips to the ER one on Christmas and one just a week ago with heart palpitations that turned out to be benign. I'd been able to piece together that both of these did partner with alcohol consumption, (I've almost kicked it completely to the curb but not entirely) and I've also noticed an uptick in the palpitations every month 1 week before my period, so I was figuring it out based on my own personal observations that it had something to do with my hormones. Now after getting labs back, seeing my FSH is 99 and not having a period for 2 months it confirmed to me these were perimenopausal symptoms. You have now validated what I desperately needed to hear. What I am extremely disappointed in is BOTH my female PCP and gynecologist had no idea about any of this, aren't educated on HRT and can barely give me suggestions for places to go which is understandable from my PCP but not my gynecologist. I will be locating providers from your website. How in the world did we make it to 2023 and are letting half our population just walk on off the cliff at 45 years young without so much as an encouraging pat on the back. Baffling. It appears Gen X ladies are starting a menopause revolution because this shit is for real! Thank God for you!!! Adding: I'm 46 btw.
ОтветитьThank you. Helpful. I need to have hormones tested. I have heart palpitations and many other symptoms like really bad over eating and mood swings. Perimenopause stinks!
ОтветитьThanks so much !!! It is amazing how much my Obgyn has no idea and I’ve now been sent to a cardiologist. I told him that I read it was a symptom, and he made me feel like I was crazy and said “No, it’s not “ 😮 so disappointed. Thanks 🙏🏻
ОтветитьI am 42 and have been dealing wit thus for 2 years this video really helped to educate me . thank you new subscriber❤
ОтветитьThank you so much, this was very very informative for me, I am in peri-menopause, always wondered about my weird heart palpitations which triggered anxiety episodes, the best treatment for me has been hormone therapy which has helped dramatically in reducing all my symptoms
ОтветитьCan u talk about hair loss remedies 😢
ОтветитьThank you so much. Do you have a video on adrenaline rushes? I get this too and it feels like I'm going over a roller coaster, making my body feel stressed and then cause anxiety too
ОтветитьI live in Canada, and i wish i could see you for treatment. Thank you for the information 😊
ОтветитьMy palpitations went away by raising my magnesium RBC from 3.7 to 6.
ОтветитьThanks for this.
ОтветитьThis information is very reassuring…. Thx😊
ОтветитьYes had heart palpitations and then they disappeared after taking HRT.
Just saw my Gyno yesterday and she will not renew my HRT much longer. Told to "cut them in half for a little while longer ". She said, "the lowest dose possible for the shortest time possible " 😡
YES! So very helpful and reassuring to learn! I've been having ectopic heartbeat for months and my doctors (just outside Boston...so you think they'd be more familiar w/ menopause issues) really don't seem to be able to wrap their heads around the fact that this IS menopause related. I'm a healthy athletic 51 year old...non-smoker...no caffeine...normal cholesterol...normal blood pressure...normal blood sugar...normal EKG....but I learned (on my own via Everlywell test) that I'm estrogen dominant. Really frustrating to have to PUSH to get help; and I'm already a strong patient advocate for myself. Makes me wonder about all the other women out there suffering like this. Totally sucks quite frankly. Good luck to everyone!
ОтветитьI've always had palps but they are worse. I'm in perimenopause and have PMDD. Been to doctors and E.R. It's ruining my life. On the fence about taking those hormones. All consistent with ovulation. Been in psychiatric units. It's no joke. Get treatment for perimenopause.
ОтветитьDoes heart beat also high during this phase? My heart beat is 92 these days and I am 50 years old
ОтветитьI have had palpitations very sporadically for years, but for the last couple of years has my other perimenopausal symptoms have increased, I will have a time during the month where I have skips for three or four days at a time. It drives me nuts! Obviously, it is not life-threatening or I would be dead, but it sure gets stressful sometimes! I hate that so many of you here seem to suffer from these, but I am sure glad to know I’m not alone.
ОтветитьCan perimenopause cause rapid heartbeat also? I seem to have cyclical experiences of rapid heartbeat.
ОтветитьHad skipped beat for 3 months when I was 47 make me so worried and catch 22 the stress make it worse. I had SVT which was treated when I was in 30s and suddenly heart skipped beats. Had Hotler for a month, ECG, stress ECG, ultrasound, all various test and my cardiologist found no issues and just decide hormonal 🤨as he not sure what is wrong! Not looking forward for its return as it is not frequent but scary time indeed when it strike. Maybe I should consider HRT?
ОтветитьWhat about those of us who are in premenopause?
ОтветитьI was 8 months pregnant my heart palpitations started and havent stopped since ive seen several doctors they will not run a estrogen test on me
ОтветитьI’m 48 and perimenopausal and I’ve had palpitations for the last several years. Early on one of my friends told me it was hormone related, which was incredibly helpful to know! Around that time I somehow also discovered that eating a banana will stop the palpitations in literally just two or three minutes. I’m not sure if it works for everyone, but it always works for me.
ОтветитьI've been suffering loss of balance, pulsating headache, palpitation, and health anxiety for almost 6 years now..but my doctor said that there is nothing wrong with me...this video helps me a lot...
ОтветитьThis has been very helpful. I have a history of sinus tachycardia and have experienced palpitations occasionally for many years. I’ve also been on bisoprolol to lower my resting heart rate. I’m now 56 and have been experiencing palpitations daily for the past month although different than my usual ones. These are much more frequent and occasionally cause lightheadedness for a few seconds. I did talk to my doctor and she has ordered another Holter monitor so just waiting for that. I’ve been searching for peer reviewed publications in medical journals for information on this and then found this video. This is very informative. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you for this very much needed information🙏🏽 So far you seem to be the only one that knows exactly what we’re going through. My pre-menopausal heart palpitations had me thinking I was going to have a heart attack! Started seeing my beautiful grand babies growing up without me🥹,Scary, but this video is very encouraging. Thank you for putting it together in such a wonderfully kind manner👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
ОтветитьIve had mine for weeks and Im so fed up
ОтветитьI’ve been dealing with this since the beginning of this year. I was 35 at the time. I had all the cardiac tests and everything came back normal. None of my doctors ever took me seriously when I said that I thought it was related to my hormones. It always happens when I’m about to start my period. It gives me such bad anxiety.
ОтветитьThank you so much for the helpful information/ video ❤️🙏
ОтветитьOnly 39 yrs old and I'm having heart palpitations, I didn't know about pre menopausal until now. I went to different doctors do some ECG x-ray all results came back normal. Thank u for sharing ☺️☺️.god bless all the women 💓
ОтветитьMy doctor shakes his head and chuckles because Ive been in healthcare for ten years, and on top of an existing anxiety disorder, I've been questioning premenopause...he tells me I'm too young (I'm 39) but a lot of this fits the bill
ОтветитьThanks for your video
Getting HRT since only a couple of months it works a lot but doesn‘t cover all Symptoms , it will I have Been told in a couple of years thanks again blessings ♓️♓️🙏🏻
S grateful for you ❤
ОтветитьCan these be continuous pounding?
ОтветитьI had them a lot for a year or two but not as much anymore, I too went for a physical , including ekg, along with anxiety attacks. I’m 48 now, oddly enough, my woman doctor missed this, I even told her I thought I was in peri menopause. I told her I had anxiety and depression, she didn’t connect the dots at all 🤷🏻♀️ I did all the research and figured it out myself
ОтветитьThank you!!😊
ОтветитьI’m 55 years old and I heart palpitations 😢and it’s scared me A lot but I went to the doctor 👨⚕️ had a ego done he said he seen and layer of skin around my heart ❤️😔😞 I’m really scared 😟
ОтветитьMine seems to jump and miss a beat, its the scariest thing ever 😱 thank you for the tips at the end 😊
ОтветитьWhat about heart palpitations before your period (during pms), that started at the begining of your 30's?
I don't think it's all related to premenopause or menopause... and if I remember correctly, the estrogene levels drop also after ovulation.
How can I make it stop?
It seems like only trying to breath + rest well + avoid being in the heat + avoid caffein + eat complex carbs + work from home - helps to kind of get this to stop from happening, or happen less.
If I skip one of the above, and eat suger/not eat first thing in the morning/be in the heat etc. - I get these heart palpitations and panic attacks, and it really messes up my life.
i was having bad palpitations earlier and went on a 30 minute walk and they’re gone.
ОтветитьHave palps 4 yrs. Heart test fine. Quit cycles almost a year. They started back the palps r worse and my BP is low often and HR has been as low as 47. I don't know what to do anymore! I read on here iron deficiency. Holy Basil has been my only help! Any suggestions?
